Summary: Cassandra meets Johnny Depp at Disney world. A friendship is soon made. Only one problem Cassandra is sixteen and Johnny is thirty. Years go by and they remain friends. Somewhere along the way Cassandra falls hard for Johnny. So she can only wish that age was only a number.

Chapter One

I squinted my eyes at the sun beams that streamed through my window. I looked at my alarm clock. It read 10:30 a.m.

"Oh crap I am late for school!" I yelled out loud and jumped out of bed causing my black and white kitten to meow loudly her protest at being disturbed as she had been laying on my stomach.

"Oh sorry Mizzy." I said as I patted her head before I jumped out of bed and raced to the bathroom that was connected to my bedroom. I ran back out remembering that I needed some clothes. Duh!

I quickly took a shower, brushing my teeth while I was still in the shower. Multitasking, not something I was used to. Right now it was necessary though. I looked at myself in the mirror once I had finished getting ready.

I had decided to blow dry my hair straight today. Naturally I had blonde ringlets that made their way down my back to my waist. Everybody thought my curls were so pretty. I hated them. I had big blue eyes and a tiny mole on my right cheek near the corner of my lip. I hated that also. Everybody said it was sexy, but I didn't think so. I made a face at myself in the mirror before leaving the bathroom.

I patted Mizzy on the head one last time, before grabbing my keys off the night stand and picking my backpack up before making my way out of my room.

Wait a minute! I thought as I walked out my room and into the living room. Why is everyone home. My twin baby sisters Lily and Lucy were crawling around chasing the dog. My thirteen year old brother Tyler was playing a video game and yelled as Lucy got tangled in the cord and pulled the controller out of the game system. My fifteen year old sister Bethany looked none to happy as she untangled a sobbing Lucy. My parents as usual were no where to be found.

" Why is everyone home on a school day?" I asked feeling confused.

"Whats wrong with you sis? It's Saturday!" Tyler said.

Oh gosh how stupid could I be. Its Saturday! I danced around happily as my brother and sister looked at me like I was crazy, before making my way back into my room. I threw my backpack on my bed nearly crushing Mizzy. She jumped off the bed and ran out of the room.

Since it was my sister's turn to babysit the twins as my parents are always out and about and for once I had a Saturday off from my part time job at the blockbuster video store, I decided to go to Disney World. My Dad is one of the head managers or something or another like that at Disney so I get in free. I hadn't been to Disney for a while so it sounded good.

I grabbed my cellphone that was sitting on my computer desk charging. Oops I missed a call. I better check the message. It was a message from my best friend Kelly saying that she wouldn't be around this weekend and sorry that she had to cancel on me. Wait she had to cancel on me. I forgot we were supposed to go to the Mall today. Seem like I was forgetting a lot today. It must be one of those days.

I grabbed my purse throwing the cellphone in. I grabbed my keys that I had thrown on the bed with my back pack. I grabbed my drawing paper and some pencils off my computer desk and made my way out of my room.

My brother and sister barely acknowledge me as I made way out. Nothing new there. If you hadn't noticed already my family isn't a very close one. My parents are always working and when their not working their never home always going on trips. I have tried to be close to my brother and sister, but I get the feeling they don't want to be close to me. The twins only cared because they didn't know the difference.

I closed the door of my blue Volkswagen. Its practically falling apart, but it's all I could afford at the moment. At least it ran.

We didn't live far from Disney World since my dad worked there. I got on to I-4. I was nearly side swiped when this car came out of no where, the driver driving like a maniac. I almost laughed when a cop pulled the driver over.

I decided to go to Magic Kingdom. Hey your never too old to be a kid. I showed the lady in the parking booth,my badge that all family members get when a relative works there. I looked for parking spot and parked my car. I threw my keys in my purse and grabbed my drawing paper and a pencil, along with my purse before making my way out of my car.

Lucky for me the tram pulled up just as I got to the tram area. I quickly made my way into the tram. A family got in, in front of me. I sighed as they looked so happy and close like a family should be. Something I would never be part of.

Once the tram finally stopped I got off and made my way through the crowd. Once again I showed my badge to man at the ticket machines. He opened the gate and let me through. What to do first I thought as I walked into the park. I didn't really feel like riding any rides at the minute. I decided to find somewhere to sit and sketch.

I found a bench near Cinderella's castle. I sat down and opened my drawing paper and begin to sketch a drawing of Cinderella's castle along with Cinderella and Prince Charming.

I had been sketching for a while. I would have kept sketching except my stomach growled loudly. I had forgotten to eat breakfast. I looked at my watch. No wonder I was so hungry. It was already two in the afternoon.

I couldn't afford much at these prices so I decided to go into a shop that sold soup and sandwiches. I order a Turkey and cheese sandwich with Broccoli and cheese soup. I found a empty table and sat down.

As I ate as I looked around at the other people who were eating in the shop. I felt really lonely as watched all the happy people around me. No body was alone except me. I got up to throw my trash away.

I was making my out of the shop when I saw a dark haired man with dark eyes being chased by a group of girls. Wait a minute is that Johnny Depp!! I hated that people did that to celebrities. The poor guy looked scared to death.

I grabbed him fast without thinking. I pulled him into the shop. The girls ran past the shop never noticing that Johnny was no longer around.

After having had caught his breath he looked up at me. Gosh his eyes were so dark and penetrating. He was beautiful. His hair was pulled back into a pony tail. It was a auburn color. God I wish I was older then sixteen. I was jolted from my thoughts as Johnny started to talk.

"Thanks! I thought for sure I was going to be mauled." Johnny said.

"No problem Johnny." I said and then wanted to stick my foot in my mouth when I called him Johnny.

He only sighed.
