CANON CHARACTERS

Canon Characters are NOT allowed. People who Role Play Canon Characters tend to stray away from the actual character that JK Rowling made. Also characters from other things are not allowed either such as "Tifa Lockhart". That is not allowed. Try to make your own character, be creative. You may not claim any relation to ANY canon characters. In other words: only original characters are allowed here. No suggestion of relation is allowed either. Surnames you may use are the VERY common ones. Lupin, Malfoy, Weasley, and Granger do not count. Additionall, Don't butcher canon names to create some Frankenstein monster! "Voldemort Potter" is an excellent example of how truly stupid that particular practice is.

It's pretty simple to understand, just make your own character.

SIGNATURES

All signatures must include your name and year, unless you are a professor.

USER NAMES

Your user name must be the same as the character you are Role Playing,

RIGHT: username: Jane Smith character name: Jane smith

WRONG: username: pSpFREak3845 character name: Jane Smith



MARY SUES OR GARY STUS
For more detailed reading on what a Mary-Sue is, and why it should never exist, googling the term. Wikipedia has another good explanation, and our character creation guide also has some information of the subject. But basically, a Sue is a character who is brilliant at everything she does, beautiful, smart, adored by everyone, and absolutely two-dimensional in every respect. Attempting to counter a character's perfect nature with a tragic past is not helpful in anyway, and will not assist you in gaining entry to the game.
