Magic exists in everything, including death. For as long as the world has been around, so
has the Mirror. There is no Heaven, no Hell, no reincarnation, and no passing into a peace-
ful slumber. Everyone who has ever died comes to the Mirror. Souls awaken to find them-
selves in a land which is a reflection of the world they left behind and in their bodies at the
age they were the happiest within life. As Wizards and Witches and Muggles faced eternity
they formed the societies which they had left behind. There are Quidditch teams, schools
for those who died before they reached adulthood, and even a Ministry of Magic which is
charged with keeping the peace in the Mirror and the dead from interfering with the living.
There is no Magic which can bring back the dead, after all.

Then Lord Voldemort became malcontent with Death. The Dark Wizard escaped from his
imprisonment and set out to find a way to return to the living world and reclaim the power
he lost at the hands of a teenage boy. He succeeded in finding a loop hole within the magics
that kept the dead and the living in balance and sent four of his Death Eaters to the real
world in order to see if the dark magic he experiment with succeeded. Now the Dark Lord
awaits either news or a sign from his followers that the dark magic he experimented with
could safely return him to the world he very nearly ruled over.

The balance between the living and the dead has been broken. When four Death Eaters
arrived in the world of the living, immortal and eternally the age they had been in the Mirror
there were eight innocent bystanders pulled into the Mirror. While the ministry was quick to
mend the rip in the magical wall, there were consequences to everything that had happened.

The balance between the living and the dead has been lost. Old Magics have been broken.
The unknown stretches out before both the living and the dead and casts darkness over
all who face it.

Only one question remains:

What will you do with eternity?
