PESTILENCE DISCUSSION THREAD, cyclops' team

I've edited my post slightly to take it into account. I was under the impression we were trying to wrap the thread up, though we could probably go a round or two with the Blackbird being hit if that's what people are up for.

Since Rogue has been posted for, I will get another Remy post up tomorrow guys, IF the thread hasn't already been closed so we can move on by then.

I wasn't expected a hit, or asking for it. Rather, an evasive maneuver or anything really. It's only courteous to acknowledge an attack in some way.

Is this our final round? Does Magma have to clean up the mess she and Rogue made to Russia?

Oh, and more on a more serious note, what about the converted population? I was thinking it'd be out of character for the X-Men to just leave them to terrorize the place. Can they be contained/rounded up so that the rest of the country isn't converted, or is it too late?

My thought, if it wasn't too ghastly and out of what was planned, was that the population just returned to being normally dead once we take down the Horseman. That matches with Emma's findings about the population, that they're for all intents and purposes dead. Granted that leaves the entire population of Moscow wipped out, but that is kind of an epic thing which the coming (and hopefully stopping) of Apocalypse would match up with.

Zombies would drop when Threnody herself is incapacitated. I'm not sure if being in phased state would affect her control over the undead or not?

I think we're talking about post-take down cleanup. The larger question is that since the majority, potential 99% or higher, of the city is infected and basically zombies does that mean they're dead dead once we take down the big bad?

Zombies are dead without Threnody to keep them reanimated, yes.

And as mentioned before, Beast can work on redistributing the vaccines 'of panel' once they're back, or at least share the formula with Russian officials so those who are still alive, but infected, can be cured.

Darnit... due to a busy day, and being called into work tomorrow, I've run out of time to get a Remy post up. Will TRY to get it done some time after work tomorrow.
