With Elf sued...not much spoilers for this set...(even if there're still 30, including those predictables) It's MY set (the "Blue set") anyway, but I cannot decided b/t building Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle (they're Frogs...but yeah) or my favorite U/W Control. Since seriously, I will Draft Graft...it's the next broken thing after Modular. P.S. For once, Magic COPIED something from Yu-Gi-Oh: the "no-hand advantage theme" of Rakdos

I dont really like Rakdos right now, i dont really like the color combination its not like BW, that was just nuts. but right now BR is looking dead. ill be doing UG - Graftdown / Control. So far im running UG- Aggro for the PTQ this weekend. it may or may not work, cant wait for dissensions all i know is my deck will be complete by alot. :D Voildslime baby. 3cc counter target spell, activated, or trigger ability, what is not to like about that?

I'm worrying about U/W more than anything. I mean, they're the best control colors in the game, but Wizards may not even give them any good Control Magic. Seriously, with 150 cards to go, I cannot conclude anything (especially that Azorius mechanic is not spoiled yet). However, Hellbent does sucks...pretty bad. EDIT: Gotta love Splits also!!

Still so far I'm loving Lyzolda,the blood witch,I doubt she will last very long but at least I can get something back. Also I have to see the rest of the set to decide on the Hellbent mechanic and what other cards actually work with it,though I dislike 0 CIH... Condemn = About freaking time they print a good white creature removal card... Rakdos Pit Dragon = Typical 2CC Dragon along the line of Dragon Whelp / Furnace Whelp...sad that it's "Jump" instead of pure Flying... Augustin = Baron's newest toy...Augustin + Leak = Stupid...

I mean i'm a fairly noob player(started when Mirrodin was released).So is the Mechanic for the new set even better than Guild pact.(I love Duel Colors) Holy shiznit!!The new cards art owns I gotta get a box of this set more demons ^_^.hmm any any more elf in this set so far known?or new Goblins?

Elf - 3 Goblin - 3 So, 1-2 more Elf, and 1-2 more Goblin (maybe 3...who knows?) As for the mechanics...how they're better than GP? All 3 keyword mechanics is sorry in this set... Graft - Modular revisited...only worse Hellbent - No cards in hand?? Blah. Forecast - It's something like "[Cost], reveal this card: Do something", it's OK, but the cost are pretty expensive.

And starting in Mirrodin block is not exactly n00b...almost 3 years past Mirrodin already (I start around 8E release). And yes...all I do is netdeck in Magic...

I must admit I really dislike the Hellbent Mechanic as well but I really want to play Red/Black for Lyzolda alone,still Rakdo's augermage seems to be decent in actually depleting your hand while depleting your opponents hand also...I think thats the invitational card?

The thing I'm STILL worrying is the design of Azorius. Too much flying, too few control. Even if Augustin is truly my toy, that is...
