And yet, the Wii U will still be backwards-compatible with its predecessor, because THEY KNOW BETTER.
This, on top of the Wii U's freaky controller, and the fact that they're releasing more older-crowd games for the system unlike the Wii (and thank god for that decision), Sony's once again already fucking themselves in the ass...... As far as their & Microsoft's stupid 'anti-used game tech', they're looking to bankrupt themselves if that's true. This post has been edited by a-hole w/ 9000atk on Mar 29 2012, 08:02 PM |

Meh, people still buy stuff, which is why they (think they) can get away with it. On the other hand, I guess I shouldn't use Apple as a model (other than the fact that Sony is still stuck in that proprietary age when they can't afford to) b/c if they know better, they could have sell games a LOT cheaper and thus, attract more buyers. But no, instead of doing that, they go with the anti-used game route just to increase their profit margin. As far as Wii U - it's too bad Nintendo is not 3rd party friendly at all. And since they're going the economical route, technically they need to release a console a lot faster than their competitors...(It's like buying a PC, either go cheap and have to replace it in 2 years, or buy a more expensive one and it'll last at least 5 years...) |

Nintendo may not usually be 3rd party-friendly, but they're sure letting em run wild this time, it seems. And that only stands to ensure that Nintendo will win this latest console war before it even frigging STARTS.
