Welcome back to another card review for the OCG, now with English cards (kidding...just kidding, who knows what would happen!)
Anyway, I would make my introduction short, this time, I would look at another Bommer's card. Last time I talked about Airraid, this time, same strategy, just different type of machine.
Dark Dive Bomber
Dark/Machine - Synchro/7/2600/1800
Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner
Release a monster from your field to activate. Deal damages to opponent equal to level of the released monster * 200.
As an Diving Bomber, this card is, well, a mecha with the craziest engine ever existed in the history of the game (OK, maybe not...). Well, as this card is suppose to be related to [Black Bomber] (since a [Black Bomber] + a level 4 = this card), where is it? As I see...in the head level, if you look closely, it looks like there existed the bomb.
Really, this card's art, if thinking about Bommer's card, just does not make sense. It has the color of [Summon Reactor AI], but it IS suppose to be great only with [Trap Reactor RR]....
This card is a level 7 Synchro monster with stats of 2600/1800. Although 2600 attack is not the highest for a level 7 Synchro monster ([Nitro Warrior]'s 2800 is), but as you know [Nitro Warrior] cannot be just Sync without using [Nitro Synchron]. Overall, 2600 is not a joke, although not the highest, but not low either.
This card, in a rarity in newer Synchros, does not required any specific Tuner or non-Tuners, any monster that combine to be level 7 would be OK. Of course, as I mentioned above, a great way to get this card out is using [Black Bomber] (if one would use Machines), as one of that card is equal to getting this card out with ease. Of course, one can use the other tricks (i.e. [Summon Priest] + [X-Saber Airbellum] from [Rescue Cat], Black Feather monsters, the popular Diabolicguy-Krebons-Psycho Commander engine, etc.), and level 7 is just not as hard to Synchro Summon as when I reviewed [Black Rose Dragon] anyway.
The reason why this card is use from the beginning is the effect of this card. Yes, the effect is SO self-explanatory, yet it can be powerful for the following reasons:
1. It does not limit you to once per turn
2. It can dealt damages from 200 all the way to 2400 per monster released, most likely in the 1200-1600 level. (The max. used to be, I believed, 800 by [Princess Ohm])
3. You can released this card itself
4. You can win without attacking...how unfair!
Of course, then there is the now infamous OTK combo with [Demise].
1. Summon [Demise] using [Advanced Ritual Technique] with 2x [Mecha Hunter]
2. Clear the field
3. Summon [Black Bomber], special summon [Mecha Hunter]
4. Sync [Black Bomber] with [Mecha Hunter] to Synchro summon this card
5. Direct attack with [Demise] and this card (2400+2600=5000)
6. Use this card to shoot [Demise] and this card out (1600+1400=3000), game over.
Of course, there are other purpose, like pinging opponent to death if you JUST do not have enough attack power to finish him up without giving opponent another chance to counter. With the speed of the game as it is right now (where Turn 3-4 kills, counting only your turn, is typical), any extra damages that can be squeeze out is good, really good.
OVERALL: 9.0/10 - The effect of this card is just so typical, but it is super powerful. I had fun playing with this card, I do not have fun facing this card, so that's how stupid this card can get. It is pretty much a "must" in an Extra Deck right now in the current metagame, maybe in the future, due to just the extra kick it gives a player, at minimal. Having an OTK combo, of course, make this card looks much better.

OUCH. That's mean, man.
You just know it. LOL
Gemini's... always have poke fun at something.
Incidentally, if you're admitting that Synchros-7s are way easier to summon now then before, perhaps you have a reason to readjust Black Rose Dragon's score (albeit not much because only the speed of her is affected).
