Note: You will be unable to use a signature without creating a RPG profile first.

However, there is a way to work around it. You simply have to disable Javascript for your browser before editing your signature. Then enable it again after you've submitted your edited signature for the forum to work properly.

For Mozilla Firefox Users
From your browser, go to [Tools] => [Options] => [Content]. You will see see a checkbox with [Enable Javascript]. Use that to trigger the Javascript on or off.

For Internet Explorer Users
From your browser, go to [Tools] => [Internet Options] => [Security]. Simply set the default level to "High" or use the "Custom Level" to find and disable Javascript.

Note: Anyone caught cheating the RPG system will risk getting their entire signature removed.

RPG Profile
To start using the RPG system, you have to set-up your own RPG profile. Go to your [User Control Panel] at the drop down "Quick Links" at the top task bar. At the very bottom, you will see a box called [RPG Information]. There you can update your profile, purchase stuff at the equip or item shops and deposit your cash at the bank.

Let's first update your profile. (This can also create an RPG profile for you if you haven't done so.) The various fields are:

Alias => Your identity in your RPG game
Gender => I don't need to explain
Image => Choose a character to represent you
Element => Choose your alignment from Dark, Earth, Fire, Light, Water and Wind
Birthday => The supposed birth date of your character
Location => Your location within the RPG game
Sig Card => Your signature card or in other words, your favourite card

Note: Please refrain from using strange symbols or characters. They may cause your profile to become buggy. (FYI, I tested it with Japanese kanji before...)

Click the button [Update my RPG Profile] once you're done. When you've successfully created your profile, an option will be available beside your username in your posts, to trigger between your normal posting details and your RPG details.

Attributes
There are 5 attributes or stats that defines your character's strength. They are Skill, Luck, Intelligence, Charisma and Experience. When you have enough experience points, your character will be able to level up.

Money
Whenever you post, you will receive some money in terms of "Gil". You will get 5 Gil for every post you make and 15 Gil for every new topic you start.

This money you obtained MUST be deposited into the Bank before they can be used. By depositing the money, you will also gain experience points from it. In fact, this is the only way you can gain experience points.

Shops
Self-explanatory actually. At the [Equips Shop], you will be able to purchase the various Duel Disks and even Millenium Items. Do take note that the Millenium Items are extremely expensive and for each Millenium Item, there is only a single one in stock. This means that they are unique one-of-a-kind items with no other duplicates.

The [Items Shop] offers some miscellaneous stuff. I haven't really figured out what to add to the shop so I just threw in some random stuff. XDDD

Oh firstly your using.... Millenium Ankh...shouldn't it be Millenium Rod cause your using all the other dub names for the other items.

And what about using the 'Shadow Items' from GX....just a thought.

Because GX is a horrible commercial for konami's latest products in Japan that has no relative and originally constructed storyline from the creator of the franchise?

Sorry to make a snide comment like that, but that was just a GX rant Lite. I could go off for two paragraphs on the horrible faults of GX as a program in general, but I won't. The original yu-gi-oh actually had purpose and story outside of a few horrid sagas (DDM, Kaiba GP, etc).

Fixed the name of Millenium Rod. I tried to rush through all these so there are bound to be silly mistakes made. Thanks for pointing it out.

If only people manage to buy off the Millenium items, then I will consider adding those stuff from GX. I never cared much about GX anyways like Dawn Yoshi mentioned. :angel:

The RPG hack conflicts with the online/offline legend. With the o/o legend around, the rpg will still work if you reload the page again. However, if I take down the o/o legend, the rpg won't require you to reload and should kick in instantly.

Question is, do you people still want the o/o legend??? If not I'll just take it off permanently for now.

Anyway, it doesn't really matter if you take off the on/off legend, as you can see who's online on the bottom anyway (There's not that many people...)

You have to bank the money in order to "claim" it. The temporary money in your hands (which you haven't deposited) will reset after each session. You don't have to deposit it every time you post but do remember to do it BEFORE YOU LOG OFF.

Besides, the money cannot be used until you deposit it in the bank.

In addition to this, I would probably start to take away money if I find rule violation, THAT would be fun!! (Voice: DAMN YOU CHEATER!)

Don't know, may add that to the rule...LOL

P.S. I'm male and I play with Female character in all RPGs I play, so?

Can you install any new character art?

Since i'm a graphic design I know a few people who specialize in spties, I might be able to get them to make some funky lil character sprites~
