Joss Whedon needs 5 blowjobs a day for the rest of his life.
The Avengers... a movie so good, if it was a YGO card, it would be banned. It's Pot of Greed if Pot of Greed said "Draw 4 cards from your Deck and inflict 500 damage to your opponent for each card drawn this way." So much goodness in there.... Hulk vs Loki Hulk vs Thor Hulk with Thor Thor vs Iron Man Thor vs Cap Black Widow vs (spoiler) Black Widow vs (spoiler 2) (she gets quite a few fights to herself) And there are TWO Easter Eggs during the credits, even the TRAILERS were excellent. The Dark Knight Rises The Amazing Spider-Man The Hobbit Seeing it AGAIN this week for sure, not even a question. |

I'll sum up my feelings in two sentences. This the best movie I've seen in recent memory. Easily the best summer movie ever.

I watched it a week ago...
Yep, for a summer blockbuster that it is, not bad, not bad at all. Of course, some of the people that watched with me say its just about "action action action" but what DID they expect? A long complicated deep storyline? |

They got a deep complicated storyline... it's called WATCH THE OTHER 5 MOVIES!! They explained all that in those, so they could do just ACTION and FUN in this one. Now they will do it again with Iron Man 3, Captain America 2 and Thor 2 coming up. BTW-- I did see it again Wednesday night, spent 35 bucks (15.50 for ticket, 20 for popcorn, large drink and nachos). They ADDED more trailers (including Dark Shadows and Battleship). I can honestly say after watching it twice, it never losing its charm but you will catch everything the first time if you were ACTUALLY paying attention to it all. I only missed about 3% watching the first time and that's because I was cheering or something like everyone else in the theater. Also, I have seen the first Easter Egg and now I know for SURE that the rumor going around the internet is wrong. It's not "that person" everyone keeps saying is there. Only "the other big person" you know is there. I wonder if Captain America 2 will cover Bucky as the villain? Bucky as Winter Soldier against Capt in a modern world? |
