This article will be one of my short one.

Anyway, this time, we will look at the new Japanese set Pharaohic Heritage. This time it's not cards, but just NEW deck type from 309.

For some reason, 309 is more of a "fun" booster than tourney base booster. This booster is not much about staples and stuff. The theme for this booster, by KoJ, are "Anti Hand-Control and Graveyard-Control" and "Normal Monster comboing". One thing, you cannot play a deck just for anti-control, it will just NOT work. Although 70% of the player run a control deck of some kind, it isn't work to anti-control all over. Those card belongs to your side-deck more or less.

Anyway...now breakdown on few deck types I discovered.

1. Spirit of Pharaoh Deck - Well...as Spirit of Pharaoh is the main card of this booster, how it cannot built a deck of it's own? Well...this type of deck require skill to build, since you have to balance out [First Coffin] protection while use [Spirit of Pharaoh] special summoning effect as much as possible.
2. Weenie Beatdown Deck - What's that? Using some Lvl. 2-3 Normal Monster as your main hitter to your opponent! 309 did a nice job on boosting Normal Monster Weenie Beatdown, although most of them were "top-deck" cards.
3. Remains of Anubis Graveyard Control (New Gravekeeper) - For some reason...they say they have "Anti-Graveyard Control" card but release a new Graveyard control card. The effect of Remains of Anubis is close to Necrovalley. How to built a deck around it? Well...this type of deck is not about combo, it just ruining opponent's plan all over places.

This will do my article for now. Until I discovered more combos and decks from 309, that's all I could say about it.
