My friend has a 360, 20 gigabyte, 2 controllers and at least a Soul Calibur 4. The fact that Darth Vader for the 360 is available just made my friend want to get him to the game, but, no WiFi adaptor and no Microsoft points. He can sneak in the points, but the Adaptor just pisses him off. A 100 bucks for one?! He was soo pissed he threw a tennis ball onto the neighbor's window and broke it.
1- No Job. 15 years of age. 2- Gains allowance in 3 months. Earlier if my friend pleased his parents by very good report cards. So I need help to give him. 1- Any cheaper, efficient routers other than the Xbox's that can help him? His budget's 50-60. 2- Would it be better if we asked another friend (I have another one with a 360 and can connect online with it) if we can just buy off Darth Vader in the Marketplace? The other friend's a COD4 person with no Soul Calibur. My worried friend will pay with his own MS points of course and download the character in his 512 MB memory card. For those who know, have and been through the Xbox 360, please help!! |

There are quite a few link on Google (Just search Xbox Wifi Adapter) that shows cheap way to connect the Xbox WITHOUT buying the super ripoff Wi-Fi Adapter. Try it yourself, though, I don't have one and is thinking hard whether to get one or not (I probably can use wired connection if I'm getting one, but I'm a wireless guy...)
Another reason why I'll have to think 500 times before getting an Xbox...I mean, built-in Wi-Fi (At least 802.11g) is so cheap nowaday that...well, $100 for an adapter? Not even MIMO Dual-Band 802.11n adapter cost that much...(If you even know what I'm talking about...) |
