In Spirit Caller, when you defeated a Duelist, they'd randomly give you a card. The same seems to be true with Stardust Accelerator. The question is, "Do they give DIFFERENT cards each time, and is it random?" Here are what I've gotten thus far:

These are the cards I have obtained thus far. Has anyone received anything different. If so, what cards did you get from these guys? Also, for those further in the game, what cards have you received from other characters? I figured if they were all posted here, a quick conclusion could be met.

EDIT: These are the cards we have obtained thus far as a group. I'll be adding them to my list, along with time and date (when possible). If anyone notices a pattern, feel free to speak out.

Okay, Tasaka seems content with giving me Soldier of Mist Valley each time (fine by me XD), which further leads me to believe the cards are pre-set. Now, I wonder about the condition. It may just be my imagination, but it seems that I'm more likely to get their cards if I beat them X times in a row (3-5) with my Key Card (which in my case, is of course Nephthys). Does anyone NOT have a Key Card, but has no trouble getting these cards? If so, how many duels would you approximate before you get said card. Finally, were these consecutive duels against the same individual, or 2 here, 3 there, etc.?

This is what I've gotten from duelists:

Nerve: I want to say Gemini Elf, or was it Arms Hole...beating him up on my friend's game before I got mine has me confused XD
Callisto: Worm Queen, or whatever his big hitter is called
Mark: Gravekeeper's Commandant and Magical Dimension
Saito: Red Moon Baby and Vampire Lady

Everyone else has stiffed in the cards department >_>.

As for when they give their card, it's random. Usually I'd get it on like the 3rd duel with them, but Saito gave me Red Moon Baby the first time I dueled him. And as I said, a lot of the Satelite people stiffed me.

Nerve won't give up Arms Hole or any card for that matter.

Rally gave me Victory Viper XX02 the first time, BUT he gave me Machine Duplication the second time.

Dueled Buffer a few times. Got LnDD and Dimension Prison from him.

I finally went after Kidd for his 5 Times each. The first time duelilng him at all, he gave up X-Saber Palomlo but the second time dueling him at all he gave up Airbellum (just need Rescue Cat now, hehe).

Finally have two new Tuners and with one of them being a Tuner-1, I can get out Magical Android easier.

Yes, I've only dueled him twice and he gave me two Tuners. That means he has 3 prizes counting Galahad.

After the findings from yesterday, I'm more convinced than ever than there IS a pattern. People that helped me test got totally different cards, but they were all the same cards, in the same sequence. Either everyone got extremely lucky yesterday, or there is some form of condition that triggers which card you get. Yesterday, I couldn't stop getting Soldier of Mist Valley from Tasaka. However, this morning, he gives Executioner, Ptarmigan, and Bird Deity, then cycles back to repeat the sequence. A couple days ago, I got Soul Exchange from Buffer, yet it has been reported that he gave LnDD and D-Prison, yesterday, with no Soul Exchange at all. This has me wondering if the DATE could have something to do with things? We know that Konami likes to use the Date to determine which cards will be DLed. Could it be possible that a similar method is held in what cards a Duelist gives?

I don't know, Kidd gave me a second Airbellum for the 3rd win.


That's 3 Tuners from him, but got one twice in a row. I haven't played since as I left my DSi charger somewhere.

Kidd gave me Palomlo and Galahad, while Callisto gave me Worm Apocalypse.

Further in the story, there's a duelist named Angie that gave me Dark Armed Dragon.

EDIT: Kuroe gave me Breaker a few minutes ago.

Kidd gave me a 3rd Airbellum. Not only has he given me a card now for EVERY time I've dueled him, it's only be 2 cards. One Palolmlo and THREE Airbellums. Sort of wishing he would give me the battle-immune Tuner one now at least. I don't know if it has to do with the fact I keep saving each time I beat someone.

Got a Grandmaster from Oda from my second duel with him, but nothing else.

The Card Vendor in Satellite (forget her name, she uses a Jurak deck) gave me the Jurak tutor after beating her.

Got a Nova Summoner from Anna

This whole thing is getting pretty confusing (and frustrating), so I've started to add a time stamp to when I receive a card. I don't know if it'll make a difference, as results tend to be all over the board, but I'm still convinced that the determining factor is either date or progress % in the game. I can't think of any other explanation for why the certain cards repeat themselves in a sequence for some, while others get a different card each time...not to mention the number of times it takes to receive a card. The first day this game came out, it was 3-5, yet we've all had first and second duel gifts, and from different AI's.

Here's a bit of a WTF one. Got a Fires of Doomsday from Michiba, who runs a Frog stall deck(unless he has that card in there and just hasn't had a chance to use it on me).
