Title: Yu-Gi-Oh! Continuation Concepts
Description: What would interest you to see?

Long story, I discovered today how much more Japan has as far as cards for Duel Masters than the English players.

For a game that I'm very sure started with the English players (it is Magic Lite with Pokemon), it's crazy that it is so far ahead over there AND concurrent. So it made me talk to a friend about it and how something else that YGO lacks... is actually telling you THE LORE of the game. Magic TG, WoW, technically Vs and Duel Masters all do that rather well (though Duel Masters is also half-joking when they do).

YGO seems reluctant to tell you except the Duel Terminals and various guidebooks which aren't even in English.

So if whatever time the game has to move on from 5D's but somehow continue interest, I would like to see something more focused on the Duel Monsters themselves and all these inside stories. it would be like Transformers: Beast Wars, no humans or their bullshit, just the monsters and their stories to tell.

Why is the Different Dimension fucked up?
Why is Dai Grepher a prick?
Why does Gagagigo's life suck?
Why does Zerato's life suck?
Who is Maruading Captain and Freed?
What is Dark World?
Why is Kozaky the "Kevin Bacon" of Duel Monsters?

We just barely found out about Kozaky, Magic Scientist and the other Scientist creating the Core Chimail to fight against the Dark World for asylum away from them. That's a pretty deep connection and if you think about it, most of the NON-anime stuff STILL has a story, while the anime stuff tends to just be made for the show, so if anything the non-anime still at least has a story to make a show from.

That's just my idea. I honestly sit down and read it in a manga or watch it on TV if it was told. People like lore, it keeps them interested and emotionally invested. You know what happens when you get someone emotionally invested? You get people that actually like GX, even though it sucked (though the manga is honestly better and better-driven).

Despite whatever I have against Duel Masters for whatever reason (which I've been meaning to PM you over, as I know I may have overdone it with my last DM-related comment), that's one thing I'll give both it & MTG - they at least told you the story behind the monsters. Hell, MTG had novels for them. All we have for this game is a few bits on Wiki (credibility pending), a few leaks from KDE, and the Duel Terminals (which were the first to blatantly spill the beans on the monsters involved). This idea has crossed my mind several times, since it'd be a great way to keep the franchise going for a looooooong time.

Also, I've got a question to add to your list:

If The A-Zone is just a breeding ground for Gan'Giel, what planet are the Aliens actually from?

Which is why I stuck around with the anime for as long as I did - until things started going TOO far downhill.
