For whatever reason, my roommate installed the Firefox 3 Beta just because I mentioned it existed. I wasn't really prepared to go through any bugs that might come up, but I guess I have to deal with it now.

Anyway, I was logged on last night and I couldn't view any images once so ever on the forum. No status icons, no avatars or signatures, not even any buttons, which basically means I couldn't post except through the "Quick Reply" option.

Now, I'm actually typing this up on the Wii Browser (using a USB Keyboard for those who don't know the Wii will accept just about any basic USB KB), and the Wii Browser is rendering the site and forum just fine.


Is this a Beta issue or is there something wrong with the setting on my Mac, since a lot of changes were made to prepare for Leopard?

It's a browser problem. Firefox 3 is still in beta after all.

One question, where can you get that, through? It does not seems like I can find a place to download the new version so I can test it out.

P.S. It should probably be a conflict with Javascript anyway. Since the whole skin for this site is not the default InvisionFree but look more like vBulletin (not exactly).

Thing is though, I switched back to Firefox 2 and it's still giving me that issue, or at least it was until now.

Suddenly after using the Wii Browser, now I'm fine on the Mac with FF2, but I don't know if it was really a FF3-Beta issue or not.


Anyway, as far as where it is, it's on Mozilla's site, just not on the front page, I guess so people don't just see it and download without thinking, IE: you have to actually want to and look for it.

I've been using the Firefox 3 Beta (since revision 1, I'm on revision 3 now) for the PC and haven't had any issues with it so far.

If you can't see any images from the forum, I bet it's a firewall problem. Your firewall may have blocked all images coming from the forum.

BTW, I'm no longer using Firefox. I've switched to Opera now. :)
