Title: Merchandise Idea: Fusion Morphers?
SynjoDeonecros - January 12, 2008 02:42 AM (GMT)
You know those "Digivolving" Digimon action figures, the ones that can transform from one "state" of a digimon to its higher "state"? (For instance, Gaogamon being transformed into MachGaogamon.) I was thinking: wouldn't it be cool if Yu-Gi-Oh! did something similar with their fusions? Think about it: E-Hero Avian and Burstinatrix figures combining into Flare Wingman, Gladiator Beast Laquari, Dimacari and Alexander combining into Heraklinos, etc. I think they did something similar with the Gate Guardian and XYZ Dragon Cannon model kits, and with some of the GX Duel Monster action figures, but I'm talking like the "digivolving" Digimon action figures mixed with the gestalts of Transformers. Just a thought, but wouldn't it be cool?

yea... gd idea! then we would have more fun in seeing more cards cuming out in a turn or so.. (e.g i sp summon flamewingman!! then flame wingman evolution to chibi flamewingman XD)

I'm not talking about cards, I'm talking about action figures. Anyone who's a Transformers or transforming mecha fan knows what I'm talking about: two action figures of two (or more) different YGO monsters that you can transform and combine to create one action figure of the Fusion Monster those other figures create.
For example, you've got an action figure of Gladiator Beast Laquari, Gladiator Beast Alexander, and Gladiator Beast Dimacaeri. By combining them together (like a gestalt) and transforming them into one big action figure of Gladiator Beast Heraklinos.

Usually with transforming and combining toys like that, a guide is included automatically (as an avid Transformers collector, I know this to be fact), so that shouldn't be a problem.
What WOULD be a problem is finding appropriate Fusion monsters to make the toys with; I can see some of the Elemental Heroes, the Gladiator Beasts, and the 'roid Fusions as good candidates (as they're just combinations of their fusion materials, anyway), But something like...Fusionist, who doesn't look like any sort of conceivable combination of its fusion materials, would be pretty hard to almost impossible to do.

well...machine would be nicer...imagine movable dark magician figures and buster blader...ARGGGHHHH THE HORRORRRR DIG OUT MY EYEE!!!Opps they are already GONE!!!most of the monster cant combine though how dark magician and buster blader...dark paladin is 97% dark magician and the 3% goes to the sword staff thingy...

Roids would be SO easy to do that way. It's a very good idea; maybe whatever company makes the toys currently is reading this.............yeah, right. :P
name: Good point on that; not much of Buster Blader is actually part of Paladin't look other than the staff-sword.

True. Interestingly, I've found an existing Transformers gestalt that, with some kitbashing, would make an excellent Gladiator Beast Heraklinos figure. If I can get it, I'll see what I can do about it, to give you an example of what I'm talking about.
