Title: Unnerving US commercials
Description: Has anyone seen these, before?

Okay, I remember a long while back, when the game first came out in the states, that this commercial came out. At the time, I thought it was fairly decent....then, just tonight, I found these: (1) (2) (3)

Apparently, this is what's going to happen in the Yu-Gi-Oh! world, if they don't do something about those nasty Duel Monsters and stop forcing every aspect of human life to revolve around the game. And the fact that they're still trying to kill each other through duels, despite their entire race being decimated by some sort of Great Duelist World War... that's freaking scary, if you ask me.

I'll admit, the graphics for the Japanese commercials are a bit freaky, but at least they didn't give the message that only the most elite duelists will survive THE COMING APOCALYPSE...

They do this kind of shitty adverts in America?!

Why does almost every single advert show a devastated world? ALERT! CARD GAMES LEAD TO DESTRUCTION, STOP PLAYING THEM NOW!

I'd prefer the Japanese Comercials over these... They make good use of graphics, not kids.

The commercials are OK to me...I still prefer the Japanese CG ones, however.

Just not as "elite-centric"...the teens are just annoying.

I saw all of those on TV except the GLAS one.

I think it's worse the fact the commercials are blunt and blatantly telling you one message:

"The more cards you have, the better you are."

Priceless, not only saying that buying power equals skill, but having more just automatically means you win. Nevermind learning the game or practicing or thinking of strategy.

Who needs strategy when you can just buy every card that blows up stuff?

Unfortunately, yes; you should see the commercials they have for the new American Gladiators show.
