After getting all the way up-to-date on the anime, I decided to look to Takahashi & co.'s
story. After catching Shriek's name on the scanlation credits (I had thought he was only a card info guy), I read away on Issue 14......

What a frickin' way to end it. DO YOU SEE TV TOKYO GIVING AN ANIME EPISODE THAT KIND OF AN ENDING!? NOPE.

Maybe that was the original plot but TVTokyo drew it out so long Tkahashi just got fed up with it and designed this comic to show the plot a whole lot faster.

Meh, it might be the case. Regardless, I'm anticipating the scanlation of Ep.15 to see where this goes from here.

If that is correct(and I hope it is) then that will mean This is the first GXManga issue with a duel that doesn't include Judai at one end of it. Go sho! More vehicrooids rock! You just can't go wrong with those cards-but what will Kaiser have? I've hjust about had it with those Cyber Dragons- an episode witht hem just turns me off now.

Starting out with Bro vs. Bro instead of Judai being involved? Hmmm. Wonder if the Cyber selection changes.

We can now all assume that Asuka's original deck's been tossed out the window. ;) Shame, really, because those cards weren't too shabby, but these are undoubtedly cooler. (Although since Doble Passe worked its way into the new deck, who knows?) Oh, and Synjo, you'll be happy to know that she uses a 'Cold Tiger'. :P (In case he doesn't read this topic, would somebody pass this along to him? He'll be ecstatic.)

Sucks that she surrendered to the VENUS chick; already they're pussifying (no pun intended) her in the manga to match her lack of usefulness in the current anime season. At least we've got a snowball's chance in hell of getting her Cyber Ice monsters, unlike her Cyber Angels.

Okay, finally got a look at Cold Tiger on Janime. I must say, I'm impressed; 1900 ATK for a tiger is rather nice, and it's always good to see more non-linear Beast/Beast-Warrior monsters (ie, Earth-Attribute). No effect to speak of, but considering Alexis' deck, I'm betting it has something to do with Ice Counters (which means, if it ever gets released, unless its effect prevents it from being summoned if another of Alexis' monsters or one with an Ice Counter is on the field, he'll only be used as a beatstick in my Tiger deck).

After a while of contemplating over whether or not to download the actual manga scanlations onto my douchebag comp, I noticed that the Janime main site mentioned that the Ep. 19 English scans were ready, which is odd because they hadn't posted that for any previous issues from 14 onward; so I go onto the GX Manga part, and I notice that 15-18 were put up on the site finally so I wouldn't have to worry about downloading them anymore. ^_^ (I just like to avoid filling up more RAM space on my comp when I can, as slow as it is.) So, of course I went straight to Ep. 15 (which I got antsy over waiting from before :hyper: ) & watched what was actually a little happier of a chapter, only on account that Kouyou WASN'T DEAD, just the 'usual', overused-by-TV Tokyo coma. I was actually expecting it to go the other route, but the emotional parts were still just as emotional. :penguin_9: *sniff* Still, a sigh of relief on the severity of the situation, as it leaves a more believable door open for him to return to the scene.

Not only that, looks like Midori can see Duel Spirits, too......must run in the family. I'm not sure if Judai knows she can, though.

Now knowing that I can go catch up again, I'll probably read the Judai vs. Sho eps. next; I HAVE TO see Sho's 'Henshin' sequence.

Yes, he gets to duel that bitch Seika. She's apparently taking a page out of Prof. Cobra's handbook & using a snake/Reptile deck. Uh, they couldn't come up with something NOT ALREADY USED? Still, I guess a snake should duel with snakes. :penguin_17:

Basically, this means that Asuka gets a consolation prize after she most likely loses. Uh, let me get to that part now - the other 3 matchups are:
