I have a paper due on Friday, so, last week, I'm busy working on the paper but not this site.
Anyway, I would get my lazy ass off and DO SOMETHING
This time, we would look at a popular winning condition in Japan. This card is release in LE5 Kaiba, but I don't think it's ever use by Kaiba. Also, this is the original card that leds to 3 "spinoff" cards sent out on World Championships.
------------
LE5-010
Victory Dragon
Dark/Dragon/8/2400/3000
This card cannot be special summon. You must sacrifice 3 Dragon sub-type monsters on your field to sacrifice summon this monster. When this card successfully direct attack opponent and his/her lifepoint would become 0, you win the match.
------------
Art:
Like any Dragon, this card have the same characteristic: the Wing, the claw, and the giant size. This card, in addition, have the ugliest roaring mouth art I have ever seen from a Dragon. Maybe the artist from Konami could do a better job, since I would REALLY believe that this golden dragon would look much better if they draw it from the side...
RATING: 3/10
Stats/Requirement:
This card is a 3 tribute Level 8 monsters. "WHAT??" is probably for anyone that did not read the effect text yet when they just saw the level. This card requirement you sacrifice not just 3 monsters, but 3 DRAGONS in order for it to be Normal Summon. Well, although there's cards to make your monsters Dragons like [DNA Surgery] or [Bloods of Dragon] which makes this card possible to be play even not in a Dragon deck, it's still hard to keep 3 monsters on the field at once. Also, this card's stats is not specticular either. 2400 attack can be see with a one tribute, 3000 defense...ehh...OK, there're balance enough to be good...
RATING: 2/10
Effect:
In addition to the sacrifice summoning requirement, this card have a special effect that would be "copied" to 3 other cards (prize of World Championship).
Well, first, let's define what exactly is Victory. Usually, a victory means a player win a game via different options under the rule. Well, that does not exactly means the player win and would advance to next round in a tournament.
So, the "Victory" must be redefine: the player would win the whole MATCH instead of just a game.
Well, players know how to forfeit, right??
Really, that's called "bad playing manner". Because if someone would lose a match because of this card...they DESERVE IT. WHY? Well, this card must be the final direct attack, or, it's not so easy to be achieve. Also, if a player could pull this thing out...the opponent player must really did horrible in the game.
RATING: 4/10
Average: 3.6/10 - This card is really a bad card in terms of scoring. Hard to pull out, hard to use the effect, opponent could even avoid the effect. However, it's not a bad thing if opponent would just forfeit a game. Most of the times this card is use is the player use it for fun and nothing else. If not anything, this card is the number one "I OWN YOU!!" card in the game right now.
