One year after the events of "Embracing the Ebony of Darkness"

Doryean walked along in the woods. By himself. Many things had happened in the past year. But the biggest is that the Faerie made Ontinia their new Queen. And so she had to stay in the Faerie dimention and rule. That should keep her busy enough not to be bored. He thought with a laugh.

[Innocent...Delight...]

After the passing of Lord Vodka, Kaunna became the Lady Kaunna. She was the most powerful of all demons. She had so much power.

Watching a young man from about the age of 20, 21, Kaslee eyed him with suspicion. She followed him throughout the forest.

Lyzak sighed as his sister left yet again during mid sentence. They were arguing.

[Jester]

Doryean looked around the forest. He soon found the river he was looking for. There was a dark and delicate waterfall and Doryean slowly walked behind it, into what should have been darkness.

Enzeru sighed as she waited for the faerie to come. He would be here anymoment.

[Innocent...Delight...]

Kaslee emerged from the woods in front of the young man. This was her desired place. The place of the faerie, and the place she loved so. This is where SHE lived. "Hello there. What do you want here, Doryean?"

[Jester]

Doryean sighed, "I'm not here to see you. I need to go farther than here. Now, will you get out of my way, please?" he asked very monotone.

[Innocent...Delight...]

Kaslee sighed. "Ahh, right Enzeru. Well you best hurry up before she gets even madder. She's not a very patient angel you know..."

Kaunna watched as Doryean swept past the young girl. The young girl was humming a small tune. Doryean didn't seem to like Kaslee.

Being very careful not to have loud footsteps, Kaunna quieted her feet with a spell and ran after Kaslee.

Kaslee never heard anything. But she did feel eyes on her. She turned around every which way and there was no one there.

Kaunna kept dodging behind trees because Kaslee kept looking around. Creeping up behind her and whispering in her ear. "Boo." Kaslee jumped and turned around.

"What do YOU want?" Kaslee said, knowing she knew Kaunna from somewhere.

[Jester]

Doryean sighed, Kaslee is alright, but why did she call Enzeru a faerie like us? he wondered to himself as he began to see the bright white light that came from Enzeru.

He bowed before the immortal. She smiled down upon up. "I'm glad you rememered to do that." she sighed, "You'd be surprized as to how many fools forget to do that." she looked down at him, "You may get up now."

"Thank you, Enzeru-sama."

She laughed again, "And you even put an honorific with my name. Very good. You've done your homework."

This was the first time that Doryean had ever came to see Enzeru, and he sure that it wouldn't be the last, so he made sure that he did everything properly.

[Innocent...Delight...]

Kaunna merely smirked and laughed at the little girl. "Why do you disturb thee other faeries? *laugh* Kaslee, you must learn to leave others be." With that she disappeared.

Lyzak sighed. Kaunna, come back.

Kaunna got the telepathy message. She sighed as well and reluctantly returned.

[Jester]

Enzeru sighed, "So, why are you here, Faerie?"

Doryean loolked striaght into the Angel's eyes, "I need your help."

"With what?" she inquired

[Innocent...Delight...]

Kaunna sighed loudly. "Lyzak, I don't want to fight anymore. Who cares if I took Dad's place?"

[Jester]

"Me." Doryean said, simply.

"You?" Enzeru raised a perfect eyebrow. "Explain."

He sighed, "I have been told by many creatures and beings that I have great power. But I don't. Do I? And if I do, will you, Enzeru-sama, help me harness it?"

Enzeru smiled, "Well. This sounds like fun."

[Innocent...Delight...]

Lyzak sighed. "I do. You shouldn't have done that, we're not dark, Kaun. ((OOC: Kaunna's nickname is Kaun. (Con))) Dad wouldn't have wanted you to replace him. Please, Kaunna, stop it, I don't want you to be like Dad wasting you're whole life. PLEASE!"

Kaunna exhaled. "LYZAK! WOULD YOU STOP IT FOR 5 SECONDS?! WHY DOES IT BOTHER YOU SO MUCH?!"

Lyzak exploded. "BECAUSE I LOVE YOU TOO MUCH. I DON'T WANT TO LOSE YOU."

Kaslee sighed, watching a brother and sister fight was saddening. It happened to her lots..

[Jester]

Enzeru got up and walked toward the young faerie. "Follow me." She stated and headed out the cave. She had a light that followed her wherever she went.

Doryean followed her close behind. He needed help from this Angel.

[Innocent...Delight...]

Kaunna couldn't take this anymore. She went back to her dimension, to her bed inside her croft. She cried herself to sleep.

Lyzak knew what would happen. Kaunna would cry herself to sleep, not wake up for a couple of days, not talk to him for a LONG time, and then act as if he wasn't even there.

Kaslee watched as the young man frowned and thought. She giggled. He was quite cute when he had that puzzled look on his face.

[Jester]

As they two walked, Doryean stopped suddenly and turned to Kaslee, "And, pray tell, what is so funny?" he asked with a raised eyebrow.

Enzeru smiled to herself as she stopped to hear the answer and then see the reaction.
