Nicknames: Kei (he actually prefers this and will usually give you this name instead of Kakei)

Physical Stats
Hair Color/Styles: Kei’s hair is black, just barely long enough to put into a small ponytail...
Eye Color/Shape: Dark brown/black, unusually big for Asian eyes.
Height/Weight: 5’ 8¼ ” 165lbs.
Physical Fitness: Kei is thin and almost lanky, a body built more or less for speed rather than brute strength.
Tattoo/Piercing: Both of his ears are pierced, although he rarely wears earrings. He has two wings tattooed to his shoulder blades on his back.
Scars: He has a variety of small scars from adventuring, although he only has one major one. This scar is located on his lower back, running horizontally from one side to the other.
Clothing Style: Very Emo.
Other: He has an extremely emo style, and rarely smiles, but is anything BUT emo...He has glasses but usually wears contacts…he also has two small black wings that he's not quite sure of...


Personality
General Personality: Kei isn't the happiest kid on earth, but he's not emo either although it seems strange that he isn't, seeing as he is a vampire, and has never known his parents. He rarely smiles or laughs, choosing to use his eyes to express himself more than anything.
Strengths: He is a smart kid, incredibly actually. He sleeps through almost all of his classes yet gets at the least 90% on all of his tests and quizzes. He knows how to play guitar, piano, and saxophone (soprano and alto) pretty well and has been studying them for years. He writes and reads almost as much as he sleeps and occasionally draws.
Hang ups: He tends to sleep A LOT. Kei is also a bit cocky (he knows that he’s smart), but he usually keeps these emotions to himself, and only chooses to express them to people he doesn’t particularly like. He sucks at sports, all of them. The only one he’s actually good at is fighting. His brother has been teaching him for quite some time. Also, with him being a vampire he needs what any other vampire needs, blood. Fortunately, his brother has a friend working in medical school, who also has a access to a huge blood bank. Every so often Kei will get a package that will contain about a months worth of blood (he doesn’t need as much as other vampires). He will still be able to eat regular food, but in very small proportions.
How Your Character Reacts with Others: He reacts pretty well, usually making the first move to start a conversation. But if he doesn’t like you he tends not to be all that friendly.

Family
Family Pets: A big black and white husky dog named Kishi.
Family Members: His Brother Takei. His father and mother are both dead, though he doesn’t know the whole story behind it.


History
Blood Lines (Italian, Japanese, etc.): Japanese (yes I know…I’m obsessed with Japanese and Italian characters…*sigh*)
History (detail, hun, details):
Kei was born on May 19th, in a local hospital in Kyoto. His mother, "supposedly" being a very frail person, died about a year after his birth. His father "supossedly" died when he was about 6 years old (Takei was 16 at the time) when he got caught in an odd end job that ended up costing his life. In Takei’s possession, their father left them a small, silver skull pendant; which Takei ended up giving to Kei when he was 10. Takei took Kei and found a small, rundown apartment in the western section of Kyoto and became more or less his gaurdian.

Takei then took up three jobs. One was a job at a small café (where Kei would soon work as well when he was 13), another was working the same kind of odd end jobs their father did (these would often pay a lot of money, but would be very rare, causing them to make money stretch.), and the last would be street performing. Kei loved watching his brother play, and was in the end taught by him as well. He took up a couple piano lessons, and self taught himself from there, same with the soprano and alto saxophone. He saved up little bits of his money he earned to buy a sop. and alto sax, and favored the guitar that his mother had left to the two of them.

Living by a small park, Kei often found himself drawn to a small koi fish pond located under beautiful cherry blossom and weeping willows. He also found himself sitting under those trees at night, watching the moonlight glint off the fish and the water.

Now Kei and Takei believed in things such as vampires and ghosts, they just never thought that one would be in Kyoto, none the less next to them in Kyoto. While sitting under his favorite cherry blossom tree, Kei (at this time 14) was bitten by a vampire known as Ambrose Cole, forever changing his life.

He became recluse for a while, but a life of hardship made him get over it all the more faster. At the age of 15 he had two wings tattooed to his shoulder blades, to remind him that he was free, no matter how hard times would get.

At 16, kei started working odd end jobs as well, many of them involving the very same mythical creatures that had changed his life. Apparently when he was bitten, Ambrose gave Kei some special “abilities”. One of them being able to see the past of people and objects a like. Although he had very little control over it, many people requested that he take on missions that would require him to sit in one spot for hours until he found even a glimpse of the past. While on one of these missions he heard about Chikabi, thus leading him here today.

Hobbies: Piano, Guitar, sop. And alto sax., drawing, singing(though he rarely admits this), fighting, science, Gypsies, dying his hair funky colors (although currently it is natural color which is a raven black.), Herbs (medicinal and wiccan alike) music, drama (plays and the like), art (he loves museums), photography (in front of the camera and behind it), and doing things he's not supposed to...(nothing too bad though...)
Speaking Mannerisms (accents, fidgeting with hair if nervous, etc.): No accents, toys with his pendant a lot and with his fangs.

Powers
Control (amount of control over powers): He has a decent control of the kinetics but when it comes to seeing the past, it is completely random, with no control whatsoever and having a lot to do with how strong his emotions are.
Abilities: He can see into the past when touching an object or a person. He also has a variance of Kinetic abilities.
