Clothing Style: Miles is a casual, easy-going person and finds himself very uncomfortable in a suit. If he needs to be formal, he’ll wear a white collared shirt, sleeves rolled up, and maybe a tie. Otherwise he’ll most likely be found in jeans and a t-shirt or hoodie.
Other: he may decide that getting up to shave is not worth it and sleep in an extra ten minutes, so it’s not uncommon to see him unshaven. No matter what he’s wearing, he will always be warning some random colored Chuck Taylor High-Tops.

Personality
General Personality: Miles simplifies everything. That’s how he handles everything—by breaking it down into a simpler form. He’s generally laid-back and difficult to irritate. His memory is particularly good and he surprises people both with his memory and attention to detail. His attention to detail is mainly from his work as a director. He’s easy to make laugh, and finds equal ease in making other people laugh. Sometimes his logic can just seem irrational.
Strengths: Miles is very organized, just no one can find his stuff. For example: “I can’t find any pens.” “Really? They should all be in the sock drawer…” It’s hard to irritate and frustrate him. He notices things most people wouldn’t like way light falls across an object. He may randomly shout out :”it’s perfect!” then explain how the symmetry of two objects is fantastic.
Hang ups: Miles tends to get caught up in his work, lose track of time and everything else. He can get overly excited over brilliant revelations and ideas.
How Your Character Reacts with Others: At first glance, Miles may come off as very eccentric and excited and a little scary that way. If you can get over your first impressions, he’s pretty friendly and comical.

Family
Family Pets: Gilbert the gerbil who Miles doesn’t get along with.
Family Members: His mother Judy [54] is a 3rd grade teacher in Lincoln, Nebraska. His father Henry [54] is an editor of a news paper, but used to right plays and screenplays. Miles’ older brother Charles [30] makes guitars in South Dakota, and his sister Eleanor [23] is a college student & photographer.

History
Blood Lines: Irish and English
History: Miles was brought up on a farm in rural Nebraska, his mother a teacher, his father a playwright. Miles childhood was basic and light-hearted. Well, save for the whole creating energy blasts thing anyways.

He took drama, piano lessons, and in extra time at home, practiced with his powers. He’d go hunting with his father or just do basic target practice in the evenings in the fall.

By the time he finished high school and decided what it was that he wanted to do with his life, he decided for now that he would live normally, his abilities not being a part of his everyday life. He finished university and became a theatre director. After about a year he decided his energy could be put to better use elsewhere and he became a substitute teacher (mostly for elementary. Of course, 3rd graders loved to play ‘What time is it Mr. Wolf?’ with him) and he finally opted for a combination and started teaching middle school drama classes in Lincoln.

While working in Lincoln, he met a Rose-Ann McCloud, an educated, young, lovely secretary newly out of college trying to get her way up the career ladder. Within the first ten minutes of their first conversation, he invited her to dinner at a dinner theatre. From there on until the end of school they say each other. It wasn’t until July that Miles caught Rose-Ann with her college sweetheart at a club.

Miles promptly resigned from his position at the middle school. Before he had a new job, but refusing to put up with walking by Rose-Ann’s desk every day. He decided it was time for something new, and that it was time he put his experience and powers to better use. Miles ended up applying for a position at Chikabi and plans on starting new.

Other
Preferences: Miles cannot play any kind of sport. He managed to get knocked cold curling and broke his wrist playing ping pong. His main diet is cornflakes, macaroni and cheese, pizza, and cheese cake. He rarely strays from it. He likes reptilian pets opposed to birds and mammals namely because they’re quiet.
Hobbies: Reading plays, playing the piano, inventing new alcoholic drinks, speaking in a French accent (sometimes complete with Sharpie mustache), drawing (badly), playing snooker & poker (and other forms of gambling), and walking in the rain.
Speaking Mannerisms: Miles just tends to talk very loud and very fast.
