((Okay so this is pretty much my very first character that I ever created…and well…I wanted to bring her back! That and then Chiaki just had to go and make Shonen (one of her earlier characters as well, and one that I frequently role-played with as Hanako). So there you have it…I actually didn’t have any previous Character sheets for her, so a lot of this is brand new…and most likely a lot more detailed/developed…She used to be a cat demon with wings…but I think I’m going to change that part a bit…o.O))
Basic Stats
Full Name: Hanako Rei Tashiro

Physical Stats
Hair Color/Styles: Hanako has long, reddish hair (about as vibrant as you can get with out looking dyed). It falls in a soft wave to about her mid back, and is by no means an easy thing to keep up (she goes through shampoo and conditioner about twice as fast as normal girls…)
Eye Color/Shape: Her eyes are the typical Asian shape, but are strangely a very light blue. However, seeing she already wears contacts, she now wears colored contacts to create the illusion that she has the stereotypical Asian eyes.
Height/Weight: Hanako is just a bit over average height, 5’ 6¾ ”. She is incredibly thin though, and this is due to partly high metabolism, part exercise, and part a lack of eating. All in all she weighs only about 107½lbs.
Physical Fitness: Hanako isn't very fit for the fact that she doesn’t eat as much as she should. She does eat, but she doesn't eat larger proportions, and then what she does eat is burned off by all the training. As far as her body type goes she has some natural curves built in, but these are accentuated by how skinny she actually is.
Tattoo/Piercing: Hanako’s ears are pierced a few times (three along the bottom). She has no tattoos but a strangely detailed birthmark shaped like rose has found itself upon her hip (right on her hip bone).
Scars: One major scar, just a couple of inches above her heart.
Clothing Style: She’s found herself attracted to really anything, but her most favorite things to wear is a very low rising dark jean with a sleeveless yet fashionable tank top. She also has a disdain for shoes, and usually goes without them. However when she has to wear them, she at least makes sure they are highly fashionable and completely coordinate with her outfit.
Other: (okay now this was my very first detailed character you guys, so my obsession with demons and wings came from loooooonnnng ago…so forgive me for posting a character that’s pretty much like all the rest of mine…o.O) Hanako is one of my many Nephilims…however she is one between an angel and a human for once! Her wings are a pure white, and are relatively small, but are still large enough and hold enough power to take her into the air.
Personality
General Personality: Hanako is pretty cold when she first meets someone, and will remain so until she has gained their trust (which can take quite a while depending on the person.) In essence, after the incident (explained in history) she became pretty much the exact opposite of herself.
Strengths: She is extremely smart, book wise and streetwise, and knows exactly when to use it. She has also been training to handle a sword, and with determination and practice, has become quite adept.
Hang ups: She’s very untrusting towards people, though she tries not to let it show. However this makes it hard for her to get actually close to anyone. Her feelings and emotions are locked up inside of her, and she will only show these if at all to only a few people. She’s easily distracted, often found doodling instead of paying attention to classes, and usually uses her textbooks to learn the days lesson. She finds herself yelling instead of crying.
How Your Character Reacts with Others: Like before, she’s very untrusting and cold towards pretty much everyone. Only a select few can actually get in her mind and even begin to see how she thinks or looks at the world. If someone has hurt her or offended her she tend to tell them exactly how she feels. If someone she loves has betrayed her, she’d rather yell at them, scream at them. Just do anything to make them (and more so herself) believe that she hates them. However, if she has found herself in the company of a truly good friend, she becomes a little social butterfly; and if you look at her at the right moment, she seems genuinely happy and carefree, if only for an instant.
Family
Family Pets: An albino cat named Mimi (who occasionally can glamour herself into a human girl). This cat is actually quite old, but still keeps the apperance of a kitten.
Family Members: Deceased: Mother, Kimiko Tashiro(36 in appearance when she died). Father, Tetsuya Tashiro (39 in appearance). Older Brother, Kamui Tashiro( was 10 when he died).
Alive: Aunt, Sakura Tashiro (Father’s side of the family).
History
Blood Lines: Japanese! (despite certain…oddities…o.O)
History: Until the age of six, Hanako lived a happy, normal life. (at least as normal as it could get for a house full of Nephilims…). She was born to Kimiko and Tatsuya Tashiro four years after they had their first child, Kamui. It is rare that two Nephilims should meet, even more so fall in love. But somehow, both of Hanako’s parent had been Nephilim, therefore her brother and herself had been born nephilim as well. The family lived in a small traditional Japanese house buried within the forest of Aokigahara. This forest si filled with Spirits of those passed, and creatures from the realm of Fey all around the world.
It is natural that no matter how good a person is, said person is bound to make enemies. Somehow, Hanako’s father Tatsuya had made an enemy of a local Dark Elf Nalenite, who seemed to be particularly malicious, and particularly wealthy among the Fey. What her Father did is still unknown to her to this very day, but whatever her father had done (be it once or multiple times) it certainly did not go well with Nalenite. Nalenite sent one of his most trusted knights to slay the family. Hanako just barely survived, the Knight had just barely missed her heart by a few inches, obviously careless, or perhaps just drained with the fight Kamui and Tatsuya had put up.
Hanako was found, and brought into a hospital in Fujinomiya. She was placed into the care of the hospital, her wound both mentally and physically would cause to much stress if moved. Within a year, she had only left the hospital once to attend her family’s funeral. After she was finally out of critical condition, her Aunt Sakura Tashiro (brother to Tatsuya) was given custody of her. From that point on Hanako lived in a small apartment in Tokyo with her Aunt.
For three years, Hanako was very silent, rarely speaking, the only one she would speak to was either her teachers or her Aunt Sakura, who had become like a big sister to her (Sakura was only 22 when she was charged with custody of Hanako). She had also devoted herself to training. Her father had been a skilled swordsman, and was training her brother before they died. His sword was left in her possession and she was bound determined to make good use of it someday.
She entered Junior high, and grew close to one person her age. Mimi was a strange girl, and outcast much like Hanako. Some of the girls in their class had been picking on her one day, taunting her and calling her a freak because she was partially albino. Being a freak herself (even in the skin area, she was even paler than Mimi…) Hanako grew frustrated. One day she finally got up from her seat in the classroom, walked over to the head honcho of the group harassing her, and simply clocked her square in the jaw. Needless to say, since then the two have been quite good friends. It was a month or so later though that Hanako found out that Mimi was actually a cat who could use Glamour (a magic used by Fey). Hanako was surprised, but she didn’t stop being friends with the Fey creature. It was also around that time that Mimi helped Hanako discover her own powers.
Her aunt Sakura wasn’t surprised, and helped her though quite a majority of it. As her entrance exams for High school rolled around, she started to see advertisements for Chikabi. She had been struggling with her powers for nearly three years now, and her wings she had been struggling with her entire life (thankfully she had apparently been under an extremely heavy glamour made by her parents before they died that wore off as soon as Hanako learned about her own.). It was a relief to find a school where she could master her powers. Her aunt agreed and they quickly signed her up for Chikabi. Maybe then, she could even find her family’s killer, and avenge their deaths.
Other
Preferences: Hanako prefers to be alone, though occasionally she’ll try to be social. Though this just ends up in her being cold towards said person she was trying to be social with.
Hobbies: Singing, Music, Drama, Writing, Reading, Studying areas of interest, Drawing, training, walking around aimlessly, exploring ruins, flying (when she’s having a good day with control over her wings), sweets, strange or quirky fashions (Japanese street and the like when she gets the chance), being in the sunlight (even though she stays the same milky pale that she always is), Photography (carries around some sort of camera quite often…), and more…there’s always more…o.O
Speaking Mannerisms (accents, fidgeting with hair if nervous, etc.): She doesn’t have an accent, but her voice is very quite unless you’ve caught her in one of her truly happy moments.
Powers
Control (amount of control over powers): Flight is decent, but still needs a lot of work. Glamour is getting stronger all the time as she is constantly under a glamour to keep her wings hidden. True Sight is something that no one could control, no matter how much they wanted too.
Abilities: True Sight (the ability to see that which most mortals and even some immortals can't).Flight—because of the wings—and Glamour. (((Okay now this I might have to explain…if anyone here has read Tithe, Valiant, or Ironside by Holly Black then you’ll know what I’m talking about, but if you haven’t here’s a brief description of how Glamour works [as far as Holly Black’s version goes, whish is the one I’m going to use.]: Glamour is generally a type of Magic or enchantment that those from the realm of Fey are usually capable of using. In the Books Tithe, Valiant, And Ironside; Glamour is used to enchant people and create illusions. (An example is the Character Kaye, who is in fact a pixie with green skin, oil black eyes, and a set of wings attached to her back, along with extremely acute senses. Before she rolled in a patch of Clover (which is understood to remove glamour) she hadn’t even noticed and neither did anyone else. Instead she looked like a completely normal human being. Even her senses were dulled under the glamour she had been put under.) Enchanting works in a way that’s kind of strange to understand…basically those enchanted could agree to almost anything their enchanter had ordered/asked of them. The enchanted would feel euphoric almost, feeling that the only way to answer was yes, that that was the only way to make their enchanter happy.) It really is hard to explain all of this…but if you read the books [which you should! *pokes*] it makes soooo much more sense…))))
