Chikabi Academy
Welcome to Chikabi Academy, an elusive school for teenagers to learn to control super-natural and sometimes dangerous abilities. Students are sorted into four houses based on strengths and weaknesses. Either Ajina, Asamashii, Chuujitsu, or Kenage. During the seven years on campus, students will learn to control these powers in classes such as Battle, Elementals, and Projectiles. On the other hand, it’s still a school for teenagers, and the powers just add to the drama…

Basic Stats
Full Name: Chelsea Elaine Concord
Nicknames: Chelsea or Chels
Age: 15
Year: 2nd
Birthday: May 17th, 1991

Physical Stats
Hair Color/Styles: Chelsea’s hair is about as red as is naturally possible (and sometimes redder) and falls in soft curls about 4” past her shoulders. She is constantly fidgeting with it and can’t seem to decide if she wants it up or down.
Eye Color/Shape: dark blue and round that she has a habit of using to glare at ‘stupid people’.
Height/Weight: 5’4”/125 lbs
Physical Fitness: Chelsea is lucky to have a high metabolism. She keeps an active lifestyle because she feels she has to in order to off-set her eating habits (she says the only thing keeping her from murdering Pyro is his omelets and beef barley soup). Because she does a lot of sports and things, she keeps a slender athletic build with a little curve.
Tattoo/Piercing: three in her left ear (all along the lobe) and the same for the right plus one at the top. She has been banned from getting a tattoo, but already has a star burst (which is based on her middle name’s meaning: light. Her first name meaning is hard to put into tattoo form) that her tattoo artist apprentice friend did.
Scars: Chelsea has managed to get a handful of small scars from broken glass from exploded computer and TV screens.
Clothing Style: Chelsea manages to be somewhat chic but still five-minute-pull-together casual. She can normally be spotted in a camisole and capris during warmer weather and oversized wool sweaters and jeans in colder times. Now that she has an older step-brother she might steal an old hoodie and sneakers.
Other: she’s slightly tanned from hanging out in warmer climates in states such as Florida (with her father, step-mother, and God-awful, but phenomenal cook step-brother). Though actually keeping it a tan and not a terrible sun burn took many, many bottles of tanning lotion. She has a noticeable sprinkle of freckles over her whole face that she likes to Photoshop out whenever possible.

Personality
General Personality: if Chelsea takes a liking to someone, she can be sweet and friendly and if she really likes them, flirty. To be on Chelsea’s bad side is to suffer. She tends to be quick to judge unless it is truly impossible to place someone and she reacts to that person on said judgment. She avoids anti-social people as well as the anti-social person avoids her. Chelsea just prefers to talk to/hang out with social people. But there is no way that Chelsea allows for anyone to judge her as easily as she judges. She insists that she is a complicated person, though she is terrible at dealing with emotions. If a friend was in emotional distress, Chelsea would be very uncomfortable and would avoid her friend ‘til the drama was over. Like-wise, Chelsea has trouble dealing with her own emotions. When her parents split up, as she felt was hatred towards her mother.
Strengths: Chelsea is a brilliant young girl. She skipped third grade and just finished grade ten. She understands computers better than she understands people. She can go to bed at any time of the night and get up at 6:00 every morning without any trouble. She is fit and could take on most of the boys in her class and come away, win or lose, with very few bruises.
Hang ups: consequent of her genius, Chelsea is in danger of being distressingly cocky. She is constantly bragging even if she doesn’t mean to. She does have a history of being called to the principal’s office for, not bullying per say, but killing self esteem of other students. She has very few morals and little understanding of right and wrong. In her mind there is a not right and wrong but only consequence to her every action. She will use scientific principals for human nature, like for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction and an object or force may stop when it is acted upon by another force.
How Your Character Reacts with Others: Chelsea acts on her judgement: if she likes someone, she'll be friendly and sociable, if she doesn't she'll attempt to make said person as miserable as it is in her power to do so.

Family
Family Pets: A Dalmatian named Eduardo who wasn’t allowed in Chelsea’s last condo, but stayed with her Aunt in Detroit ‘til Chelsea moved into her new house. Now she has to put up with a white, long-haired cat named Persephone that Chelsea’s allergic to because the fluff ball belongs to Adrian and Chelsea’s father insisted that they not press the subject. Persephone will die soon enough of old age, right?
Family Members: Chelsea’s father, Davis Concord [42], is a lawyer who manages to fetch a giant salary simply because of his uncanny advantage: he’s psychic. That’s also probably how he’d managed to pick up Kate Wilcox, an aspiring model. After Chelsea turned eight, they got divorced. Kate had been sleeping with her agent and it was impossible for her to keep it a secret. Chelsea adores that her new step-mother Adrian Simon [40] is so open to her, but could care less about her step-brother Pyro Tyler [15]. Chelsea also recently met her half-sister Abigail Gallagher [17] who is Kate’s daughter. Only Kate did the same thing to Abigail’s father and just left without notice. Chelsea and her half-sister are now very close, though they rarely speak face to face but through instant messengers and phone calls.

History
Blood Lines: Irish and German
History: Chelsea was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana but moved to Indianapolis before she was seven. About this time, her parents began hardcore arguing. Chelsea’s mother was never around and Chelsea later found out that Kate (Chelsea never refers to Kate as her mother) had dropped her modeling agent after a fight with him and had the turned to the local strip club. Chelsea thereafter hated her mother. Chelsea says she hates her mother most for being unfaithful, but really she’s more upset because before she left, Kate announced she wanted nothing to do with a ‘cursed’ child. Chelsea originally had no idea what Kate was taking talking about, but soon figured it out. With the general mood of her household and her own frustrations with her mother, Chelsea ran into problems with exploding electronics, gaining many cuts from flying glass that she had difficultly explaining to people outside her family.

It came out that Kate was cheating (with the agent she had originally dropped), which was impossible for Davis not to find out about. A divorce was finalized and Kate disappeared, and Chelsea hasn’t seen her since and doesn’t wish to. She moved with her father to Chicago and lived there until she was eleven and then moved to Detroit. She took the summer to practice and get better control over her powers so she would be able to keep them a secret when she started going to school. Her father ran into a few old friends but Chelsea realized that it would be wrong of him and completely uncharacteristic to get anyone outside involved with their ‘curse’. Chelsea spoke of her abilities to no one. Even being young for her class, she fit in well and passed every class with flying colors—save for English. She could never manage to understand a story well enough to write anything but a bland essay and opinion.

One day Chelsea received a random phone call from a girl she could never remember meeting. Turned out that Kate had left the man she was cheating with and had attempted to return to a previous husband that Chelsea knew nothing about. Kate had left a phone number and her other daughter, Abigail Gallagher had phoned. In a newfound hatred of her mother, Chelsea stormed through into the living room and ended up a bloody mess as she blew the TV up. She was immediately taken to the hospital and was cleaned up by a nurse named Adrian Simon. After the incident, much to Chelsea’s distress and confusion, her father began dating the nurse.

Many a dinner date later, Davis announced that he, Chelsea, Adrian, and her son Pyro were going to Florida together for a month. The proposal was made and the wedding date set before the end of the summer. While Chelsea adored the successful and kind Adrian and the fact that Adrian had always wanted a daughter but never had one. That suited Chelsea perfectly, her mother had never been around for her. The only problem was that Chelsea was not accustomed to having anyone else around aside from her father. Having a step-brother, Chelsea declared, would drive her insane. Even if he was a better cook than the professional chefs at her favorite bistro.

Other
Preferences: Chelsea loves any kind of food you could think of. She isn’t picky at all, though at dinner she’ll ask who cooked and if the answer is anyone besides Pyro, she is a little more careful about it. She swims, fences, runs and plays very few other sports well. She prefers not to read, but if forced to she’ll read only great classics like War and Peace, Great Expectations, Catcher in the Rye, and poetry. For movies, she’s strangely into psychological thrillers and especially loves the Saw movies. Chelsea always gets up at 6:30. She hasn’t gotten up later than that in five years. The best way to describe Chelsea’s musical preferences: think Hallowe’en. Her iPod includes Marilyn Manson, Cradle of Filth, Rob Zombie, etc (but her guilty pleasure is Frank Sinatra) and she and despises the alternative rock that tends to be playing elsewhere in the house, but she’ll let the country on Adrian’s favorite radio station go.
Hobbies: swimming, fencing, running, playing poker, hacking, hanging out with friends, partying, and recently, playing the saxophone.
Speaking Mannerisms: she has a very shrill ‘I’m going to kill you’ voice which she has been using quite often as of late. Chelsea also overuses the word “’cause’ and rarely uses the word ‘like’ unless she’s comparing.

Powers
Control: Chelsea is very much in control of her powers, but if she has angry outbursts or gets suddenly frustrated, she has a habit of shattering nearby technology.
Abilities: Chelsea is what she calls techno-kinetic; she can manipulate any kind of electronic/technological item any time. She can also create a defensive shield that can block anything from fire (very handy) to a nuclear explosion (at least she figures. It hasn’t been tested for that).
