Full Name: Natalie Brooke Kazinski (or Natalia Grace Kamberlin)
Nicknames: Kaz, Kazi, or Kazin. If you call her anything remotely close to Natalie, she will hunt you down and threaten to slaughter you if you ever decided to do so again. She’s very cheerful like that. If her first name wasn’t on attendance lists, very few people would even know it.

Birthday: March 2nd, 1990

Physical Stats
Hair Color/Styles: so blonde you’d think it’s bleached (but is soooo not… most of the time) and layered, the longest point reaching mid-back. She has a habit of streaking it if she feels she needs a fresh look.
Eye Color/Shape: green & round, usually lined with black eyeliner and various shades of eye shadow.
Height/Weight: 5’7”/115 lbs.
Physical Fitness: Kaz is slender with some curves. She’s spent a lot of time on a track team, so she isn’t sickly thin, but in good shape.
Tattoo/Piercing: Kaz has five piercings in each ear plus her tongue. Her tattoos include one depicting a bejeweled crown on her lower back and a cross wrapped in barbed wire on the back of her left shoulder.
Scars: Many. One of the most noticeable is one over her right eye just below the hair line that Kaz tends to part her hair so it covers it. Another runs diagonally across her back in a straight line. Her hands have various cuts on them. (Explained later).
Clothing Style: Kaz has a habit of stealing Will and Jimmi’s hoodies and t-shirts, and occasionally shorts. Most of the cloths she has are donated or picked up on sale and hang off her. One of her most common outfits is classic Converse high-tops with guy’s board shorts and a seriously oversized hoodie (plus oversized sunglasses).
Other: Usually Kaz wears fingerless gloves or armwarmers to cover up the scars on her hands. She is also notorious for wearing severely oversized sunglasses and red nail polish.

Personality
General Personality: Kaz could be at the top of every one of her classes if she tried, but she usually doesn’t. Kaz gives up on almost everything and hasn’t finished a project for years. When she firsts meets people, she tends to be hostile, but she loses the maliciousness quickly, especially if she’s fond of someone. Kaz takes lying in stride. If she doesn’t want people to know about her past, her life, she’ll make something new up, usually something very plain and believable. She does whatever she wants, whenever she wants regardless of consequence. Kaz is a basic tomboy. If you simply described her, even included her name, it wouldn’t be surprising to mistake her for a boy. She’s a little too feisty and relaxed for her own good.
Strengths: Kaz is a tough girl and it takes a lot to get to her and that doesn’t usually happen. She’ll punch someone out before she’ll cry. While Kaz is brilliant, she applies her intelligence to causing trouble and rarely for school. She is blunt and straightforward, preferring to dive into things rather than think it through (which can be both good and bad). She’s stubborn, and she’s usually right, so it’s okay most of the time.
Hang ups: Kaz let’s almost no one help her, she’s to stubborn and proud for that. She takes her past for granted and holds on to grudges for a very long time. It’s very hard for her to forgive someone, having been betrayed so much in the past. Kaz never thinks of consequences and gets into trouble a lot due to her big mouth and pride. Kaz keeps her past to herself and she hates her first name. When people ask her how she got her scars (after they’ve found out she spontaneously regenerates) she tends to change the subject or take off. How Your Character Reacts with Others: At first, Kaz is very standoffish and malicious, but relaxes around people she feels she can trust (to only a point, of course). Around friends, she’s usually hyperactive and talkative. She’ll kick the ass of anyone she doesn’t like if they say something to offend her.

Family
Family Pets: a mangy tom cat off the street that is merely called Tom.
Family Members: Kaz’s biological family consists of her father Richard and her mother Olivia and a younger brother named Alexander whom Kaz has never met, and likely never will. But Kaz doesn’t consider them family. Kaz’s ‘real family’ consists of her foster mom Jody Ridel, and her fellow foster kids Valerie Dossent (18 and going to leave right away), Will Fallon (17), Drew Brooks (she’s 15), Jimmi Harmon (14), and most recently, Bethany Gerald (5).

History
Blood Lines: Welsh & English mainly.
History: Kaz was born into a wealthy family as Natalia Grace Kamberlin. Supposedly, both her parents came from royal lineage and they owned a great deal of land in Wales—actually, a castle. As Kaz got older, her parents started to realize that she was not normal. Even as a child, Kaz tormented the staff of the estate and caused trouble everywhere she went. It wasn’t until she was 10 that her parents plotted against her.

Richard Kamberlin hired a scientist, world renowned, and informed of the ‘curse’ Kaz possessed. The scientist, who was an old man, took two years to create a formula that would rid Kaz of her powers. The scientist who had created the formula died before others hired attempted to inject Kaz with the formula. Kaz fought too much and knocked the needle onto the instructions on how to make the elixir, after she had been injected with a small dose of it. Furious, Kaz’s father had no hope left for his daughter and hired a hit man to fake her kidnapping and murder.

In the middle of the night, the hit man took Kaz to a ship yard and aboard a cargo ship. In the cargo hold, the hit man attempted to kill her with a knife. Only, Kaz was stronger than he expected and he only managed to injure Kaz, susceptible to the weapon as she had been injected with the ‘cure’ to her powers. Eventually, Kaz was knocked out, being hit over the head. The hit man disappeared, never to be seen again and leaving Kaz for dead.

After that, Kaz only remembers being in the hospital in Maine. No one knew who she was, she had no one to call family. She was admitted into the foster system after being released from the hospital, under the name Natalie Brooke Kazinski. Her name was her last connection to her old life and she couldn’t seem to get rid of it, no matter how much she hated her parents.

Her first year in the system turned out horribly. The families were scared of her attitude and the fact that she told no one of her family and her history, and the strange abilities she seemed to have. It wasn’t until she was taken in by a woman named Jody Ridel that Kaz settled and felt at home. The other kids there, she could relate to on some levels—especially since she wasn’t the only one gifted with extraordinary powers there.

Kaz’s run through the school system was not quite as productive. She back-talked to authority, skipped class, and failed various classes, though she had been thoroughly educated by tutors in Wales. The only thing she really enjoyed was track and she was eventually kicked off for bad grades and swearing as an official at a competition. On finding out about Chikabi, Kaz has little hope that her term will end up much different.

Other
Preferences: Kaz listens to the most dissident indie bands imaginable. Her friends usually have to say ‘the lead singer’s mother doesn’t know this band exists’ when Kaz makes them listen. She listens to j-rock occasionally and hates rap and most hip-hop.
Hobbies: running, she finds it helps her think.
Speaking Mannerisms: Kaz swears—a lot. She’s been suspended for a week from her old school for swearing at the principal. She has a soft accent that can be annoying at times.

Powers
Control: fair, but her time control his horrible.
Abilities: Kaz possesses spontaneous regeneration, which basically means she instantly heals any wounds she sustains. She also has the ability to slightly alter time. She can go back a few minutes before, but she rarely does because it has a tendancy to go wrong.
