This is about a girl named Nicole who was born a princess,but when she was seven her kindom was attacked by the kingdom Groutek.A boy named Leo took her out of the castle seconds before it crumbled.They were found by villagers of Groutek and they decided to raise them as their own.But the strange thing is they can't remember their past.The villagers promised never to tell them because the girl would be instantly killed.

Chapter one-The Downfall
"Mother....Mother where are you"A little girl came throught the doors in the throne room."I'm right here Nicole,what do you want"A woman about twenty-five came out from watering the plants"Why are there people all around the castle.The girl looked scared"What people?"The Queen went to the window and looked out.She dropped her watering can and scooped up her daughter.She ran to the Guard's room."Guard's get ready to defend the castle the time has come."The guards scrambled to their feet and ran outside with spears in their hands,ready to defend the castle.The Queen ran once again,this time to the maid's chamber"Please watch over Nicole"The Queen put Nicole down on the ground,gave her a necklace and said"Please take care of this Nicole....it is the key to the kingdom"with that she ran outside.There were people all around the castle and when Nicloe looked out the window she saw her father on the ground and her mother over him"Father......"Then a man went over Nicole's mother and stabbed her in the back."Mother!!"Nicole screamed.One of the maidds took her away from the window and handed her to a boy,then the boy took her through a door in the wall which lead outside.As they went throught the door they heard bombs hitting the walls"Keep going princess"The boy screamed.When they came outside the castle fell to the ground and you could here chearing from the other side.Nicole held her necklace and started to cry"Mother....Father....."The boy picked her up and sarted running"It is not your fault princess.....don't cry"While they were running the necklace started to glow and then,like something hit them,they fell to the ground unconsious.

Hope you guys like it^ ^ I know the first chapter doesn't look too good but I promise it will get better.

Chapter two-The Mysterious People and the Rival Village
Who are these kids Reily?"Said a man who was about 50 years old."I dunno Frank.....but they do look familiar"Said a woman about 50 too."Uhhh.....we am i?"Said Leo rubbing his head.He looked down and saw Nicole.Who is she and what am I doing on the ground?Nicole started to wake up."Look Frank they're waking up"The woman looked at the necklace in Nicole's hand"Oh my.....Frank look it's the Queen's daughter"The woman whispered in the man's ears."Yes i see Reily.....we musn't tell anyone....even them about their past."Reily nodded and helped Nicole up"Who are you and what are you doing?"Nicole looked at the woman very scared."I am Reily and I am here to bring you to our house"She put the necklace on Nicole"Now don't lose that you hear?"Nicole nodded and turned to the man."Come here son lemme help you up"The man helped Leo up"And who are you?"Lookind at the man"Me....my name is Frank"Looking at the sky"We better get back now.....the men will come soon""Men?"Leo and Nicole said."Yes men.....our village guards,they said that if they caught anyone here they will kill us"Reily and Frank started walking"Are you two coming?"Leo and Nicole ran after them.
----Later----
"Here we are,home sweet ome"The man opened the door and put his coat on the chair."I will show you two to your rooms"Reily led the two to the room that right next to the door."Well how do you like it.....I hope it is big enough for you two"Leo and Nicole walked in"This is a very pretty room....that you"Nicole layed on the bed next to the window."Yes it is very nice"Leo sat down on the bed across from Nicole's"Well I am glad you like it.....it is late and I will let you kid's get to bed now"Reily shut the door"So do you know what your name is?"Nicole asked with a glem in her eye"My name....I think it is Leo....do you remember yours?""Mine....I think it is Nicole"She smiled"so now that we know each other i guess we should go to bed"Nicole climbed under the covers and fell asleep.Leo went to bed an hour after her.

Chapter three-What Really Happened
9years later-Nicole-16 Leo-18

"Hey Nicole get up....we need to get some water for breakfast"Leo said while shaking Nicole."Wha.....stop shaking me I'm up!"Nicole sat up in bed yelling at Leo. Reily walked into the room"Leo please leave Nicole alone so she can get dressed."Leo looked at Reily and then to Nicole"Fine.....but I just wanted her to get up"Leo walked out of the room and Nicole got dressed."Hey Leo are you gonna go and get the water?"said Frank while reading the daily news."Yeah I'm waiting for Nicole to get dressed."Leo sat down in a chair."Why don't you get it yourself....you know it is her birthday and all'Frank said while looking over the news."What?It's her birthday already.....but I didn't get her anything"Leo stood up and looked nervous."Here take this and go and get her something nice"Reily handed him some money."Thanks so much"Leo ran out the door and came back an hour later with tons of water and the present."So what did you get her Leo?"Frank was at the counter helping with breakfast."You'll see"Leo said smiling and putting down the water.He went into his room and saw Nicole sitting on his bed"Hey what are you doing in here....this is my room"Nicole turned to him with a serious face on her"Have you ever wondered where we really came from?"Leo looked shock"Well....yeah but why do you want to know?We have a pefectly good home right here"Nicole got up and stood in front of him"I've been having these dreams about a castle and a really pretty woman,then there was a explosion and it was all gone.....it was really weird cause you were in it too.....but you took me away from her"Nicole looked up at him and saw Frank and Reily standing in the doorway.*Sigh*"I guess it's time you knew the truth"Frank looked at them with a very serious look on his face."You didn't come from an orphanage....Nicole....you were a princess from the town Luhor and you Leo worked as the princesses guard"Leo and Nicole looked shocked.

Chapter four-Back to the Past

"We are what?"Leo looked confused as he looked at Frank and Reily.Frank sighed and looked at Reily"I told you they weren't old enough"Reily elbowed him in the ribs and looked at Nicole"Are you okay sweetie? You haven't said a word since we told you tha you are a princess"Reily looked at Nicole concerned"You....you said that are parents were peasents and they died in a fire!"Nicole looked mad"You said that they died a peaceful death!"She had tears in her eyes"I can't believe you lied to us."She wispered."Nicole calm down i'm sure they had a reason they didn't tell us the...."Nicole cut him off before he finished"They have no right to tell us lies Luke!"With that she ran out the door"Nico..."Reily started to say but Frank put his hand on Reily's shoulder and shook his head"It's better if we let her cool down before we go and talk to her"Reily nodded her head and started walking back to the kitchen"Well i'll go after her just to make sure she doesn't get hurt"Luke ran out the door"Now if I were Nicole where would I go?"He looked around"Right, the lake"He ran to the lake but she wasn't there"Were the heck could she be?"He looked around the lake and looked up at the hill where a beutiful castle once stood"She wouldn't be there....would she?"He ran up the hill and saw her standing by the run-down castle"Nicole...i'm so glad I found you"He walked over to her and stood next to her"This....this is my castle"she stood there with tears in her eyes"Nicole....."He paused for a while"Its not your fault that it was destroyed"He looked at her with saddness in his eyes"I know its not....I just wish I knew why it was destroyed"She looked at hin with tears streaming down her eyes"Nicole don't cry"he held her and she buried her face into his chest.

Chapter five-The Truth Behind Castle Walls

*A month before the destruction of the castle *

"Sweetie what are those letters on your desk?"The queen looked at them anxiously"It's nothing dear....just a few letters from our surrounding villages"He gave her a comforting smile as his advisor Joseph came in"My king, sorry for disturbing you but we need to talk....in private"as he looks at the queen"Yes...yes of course"The king nodded and looked at his wife"Isabella you must leave, we....have some unfinished business to attened to"Isabella looked upset but nodded"Yes my king"She walked out the doors and went into the garden room to tend to her plants"You needed to talk to me about something"the king said sitting down in his chair"Yes my king....its about this particular letter"he hands him the letter"It seems that when our letter carriers opened the letter from Groutek this fell out"he holds up the official war symbol of Groutek"Tell me this doesn't mean what I think it means"he said looking at his advisor with a worried face"I'm afraid it does my king....Groutek has officialy claimed war on us"the king looked at his advisor with a serious face"Well then....send a letter to Hiram, Kyogur, and Freh. Tell them that the kingdom of Lehor is asking them for assistance in the war against Groutek"The advisor bowed his head"Yes my king...right away"He rushed to the door and to the carrier office.The king sat in his chair looking at a picture of Nicole"I promise you my daughter...I will make everything safe so that you may rule this kingdom like me and my father before me"

Leo looked at the ruined castle and saw something shining against the sun"Hey Nicole stay here, i'll be right back"He walked over to it, making sure that he stayed away from the walls that were about to collapse. He picked it up and looked at it"No way...Nicole come here"He smiled and waved his arms in the air"Fine...i'm coming"She wiped the tears from her eyes and walked over"What is that?"She asked while pointing to the frame"It's a photo....but not just any photo...it's you, your family, and me"he smiled and handed her the frame"But the glass is broken....i can't see the picture"she looked up at him"Well then...i'll fix that"he smiled and started walking"You coming...it is your birthday and all...and we still have your party"She smiled"Yeah, your right"she ran up to him and they started walking back.

Its really short though ^ ^ I promise i'll make more in the next chapter.

Chapter six- The Un-invited Guests

"Frank where do you think they are?"Reily said looking out the window with a worrid look on her face."I'm sure they're fine Reily. Now come away from the window and help me finish the cake"He smiled."Okay...I guess I need someting to do while they're gone"She sighed and helped Frank with the cake.As they were finishing Nicole nad Leo walked in"Were home...and look who i've got"Leo smiled as Nicole sat on a chair"Nicole your home"Reily hugged Nicole"I was so worried about you"Nicole smiled and hugged her back"I'm fine, you don't need to worry bout me"As they were talking Leo went over to Frank"I found this at the ruins....do you think you can fix it?"Leo handed Frank the picture"Well...it's badly damaged...but i'll see what I can do"He held the picture to the light"Isn't this...."Leo looked at him"Yeah it is"Frank gave him a scared look"You know that place is guarded....there could be people coming for you as we speak! Plus they know what Nicole looks like...they could of seen her. which means me and Reily could be captured or worse"Frank wispered so that only Leo could hear"Yeah I know, but she was so upset"Leo looked at the ground"Oh well....lets get ready for the party"Frank gave him a comforting smile and set the picture in his workshop.Two hours later the people started arriving and the party took off. Nicole was in a baby blue,strapless dress."Nicole!! Hey Nicloe"A guy came running towards her with a flower"Hmm..Drake! What are you doing here?"Nicole hugged Drake and smiled"Well i'm here for the party silly"He smiled and handed her the flower"Thanks...i'll put this inside"Nicole walked into the kitchen and saw Leo"Your boyfriends here right?"He smield as he jumped onto the counter"He's not my boyfriend and you know that!"She gave him a look and placed the flower inside a vase"So why aren't you outside where the party is?"Nicole asked him"Uh..well..i'm still getting your present ready"He laughed"Like always"She smiled and walked outside. A few minutes later Reily and Frank came out with the cake"CAKE TIME"Reily smiled and placed the cake on the table. Leo came out and stood behind Nicole"Come on..blow out the candles"He smiled"Fine...just don't push my face into the cake like last time"Leo laughed"I promise"Everyone sang and blew out the candles"Now your officialy a year younger than me"Nicole smiled"Yup"

After the party was done and everyone went home Leo was in Nicole's room talking to her.

"Hey Nicole...here's your present"Leo handed her a box wrapped in gold"Aww..thank you"She took the box and hugged Leo"Wonder what it is"She opened it and took out a silver bracelet full of charms"Leo...this is so pretty!"She smiled as she put it on"Thought you would like it"He smiled as Reily came in"Alright you two....time to go to bed"Reily smiled and walked to her and Frank's bedroom"Guess I should leave"Leo walked out of Nicole's room and shut the door. He was walking to his room when he heard someone in the kitchen"someone's in this house un-invited"He grabbed his baseball bat and walked into the kitchen where he saw three guys dressed in green"Who are you and what are you doing in this house!"Leo said while raising the bat"Were here for the princess"One guy came at him but Leo doged"So your are the princess's guard"The guy smiled as one guy came out from Nicole's room"Got her boss"Leo turned around and saw Nicole knocked out over his shoulder"What are you doing with her! Give her back!"Leo charged at him but the vanished. Reily and Frank came out of their room"Leo whats wrong?"Reily went next to him"They...took...Nicole"He sank to the floor"What..who did"Reily kneeled next to him"The Lehor guards"Frank wispered"What do they want with her!"Reily looked at Frank with rage in her eyes"I have no clue...but I think were about to find out"Frank looked at Reily with concern in his eyes.

Chapter seven- The Guards of Lehor

"Boss where do we put her?"The guy who stole looked around for a place to put her"Just place her on the bed and come with us"The guy nodded and placed her on the bed. He ran after them talking"what do we do if she wakes up...surely the necklace will react here..I mean this is her castle and all"The boss looked at him"Trevor...i'm sure it will react...but that will only work to our advantage. You see if the necklace reacts in here that means she really is the princess and the king will be happy with us finally"Trevor smiled"That would be nice..no more water with bread and no more living down here"The boss nodded and walked up the stairs"Come on men...we must tell the king that we have found his niece"They all nodded and walked up the stairs."Mmmm...where am I"Nicole said as she held her head and looked around"What is this place..where is Leo and Reily and Frank...where are they"She had tears in her eyes"No...I must be strong...I am too much of a baby as it is"She shook her head and wipped her tears"But where am I...it feels like i've been in this place before"She stood up and looked around."This place...could it be....."She walked to one of the windows and looked out"The lake...which means that I am in the castle...cool"She smiled and stepped away from the window"How did I end up here though?"She was thinking when all of a sudden she heard voices and footsteps coming down the stairs"uhhh...who could that be?"She whisperd"Do we have to go and get her....why not the men who brought them here"Said a girl about 35"Because we are the servants...and we have to do everything"Said another girl about 40.They walked down the stairs and looked at her"You have to be the princess...you look just like her"Said the 40 year old"Who..who are you guys?"Nicole said backing up with fear"Oh I am so sorry I forgot to introduce my self"She bowed"I am Sara and this is Alana, and we were your maids"Sara smiled"Ma..maids...you mean I really am the princess"Nicloe said looking at them"Of course you are...don't you remember?"Alana said looking confused.Sara looked at Nicloe's neck and saw the neckalce"Oh my..Alana she has the neckalce...that must mean,in an attempt to proctect her,the necklace erased her memories of ever being a princess..how unfortunate"Sara looked at her with sad eyes"You don't remember anything about this place do you?"Nicole looked at the ground and shook her hhead"Well that doesn't matter cause we are here and we will help you get your memories back"Alana gave her a comforting smile"You...you will...thank you"Nicole looked up at them and smiled"WHAT IS TAKING SO LONG!"The boss came down and pushed Sara out of the way"How long does it take to get a defense less little brat"He yelled while grabbing her arm"Hello sweetie...don't worry we'll take good care of you"He gave her a creppy smile and dragged her up the stairs"Don't worry princess we will help you!"Alana called whil herlpin Sara up"I hope"Said Nicole under her breath.
