A few pointers of what not to do on this forum are as follows:

1. No spamming. No one likes senseless, one-liner posts. They have no purpose and don't further the story, and they aren't informative. Refrain from this activity if you wish to keep your character alive and well.

2. Limit swearing to a minimum. Even in the serious RPGs, unless labelled unsuitable for younger viewers, swearing must be kept to a bear minimum. This includes the reduction of many graphic words such as everyone's favourite four letter word that starts with "f."

3. No flaming. This should go unstated, but most of the time it doesn't. Flaming is unnecessary and uncalled for. No one likes to be insulted. It's just rude!

4. No younger players are allowed in the mature RPGs. This is also a very important rule to keep in mind. User accounts will be suspended and deleted if this rule is broken too many times. The first time it's a warning, second time a suspension, and third time you're gone.

5. No pornography! This is a HUGE rule to keep. Pornography, even in the mature RPGs, will get this site shut down. I do suggest you keep it off the boards entirely. There are NO warnings for offenses of this kind. This means even first time offenders are gone with no questions asked.
