I know your intentions Cheoydd da, I just don't see it happening. I cannot name an example of a country that was strong when citizens had almost as much power as the government and stayed strong. |

holland is a perfect example, they elect the prime minister who they want and they tell him what to do, and mostly they get their will, canabis is legal there, beer for 16 year olds, so umm example here!
anyway, the greek parliament was only for the city states, not the whole nation, so 300-odd people would gather and have their say, it worked... just have a council of everyone in the guild as a government |

me and fuzz were having a conversation in msn and this rule has been agreed on by us, just waiting for cheoyd da to approve
Fuzzball says: Somthing that i didnt put in the rules is that we all should be making products that our trade can make that aonther trade might need like a lumberjack will have a good amount of poles stored for whne a blacksmith needs to make a spear he can just go in the lumberjacks hut grab a pole and make a spear with out a problem then we would but the spear in the weapon hut and when someone needsa spear.. Fuzzball says: they just go and get it with out a problem no questions ask Fuzzball says: as loong it is for the clan breach of copyright is the sincerest form of flattery says: diplomacy i agree with.. and the indirect tax is good breach of copyright is the sincerest form of flattery says: that's good, but we'd have to keep a log of all of it Fuzzball says: yes breach of copyright is the sincerest form of flattery says: like 15 poles came in, 14 spears go out, something is wrong Fuzzball says: yes i didnt even think of that untill you said something that is great Fuzzball says: mind wanting to post that breach of copyright is the sincerest form of flattery says: kk |

1.Leader
- Powers - Duties - Requirements The idea or the leader and how they work is already said in another post but ill put it here so you can see it QUOTE First of There is 3 leaders 1. the military Leader 2. the Diplomacy guy 3. the Manger (Name of the leaders I'm not sure of) They will be voted in and can be voted out if they don't meet requirements or/and don't do there duties They duties 1. Military guy -Protect borders -Plan battles -Run and train Militia -And Most of all Train Troops 2.Diplomacy guy -Visit and keep in good relations with Allys -Make treaties(Where write them up then it will be review by the rest of the leader then finally voted on by rest of the clan) 3. the Manger -Makes sure that leaders are doing there jobs - Makes and maintains burguet(also be voted on by the rest of clan -Takes contracts and assigns who does what(example is in my first post) - Collects taxes(I know this is a touchy issue but I think Taxes are important but its not a direct tax sooo nobody will going to your house deadening money I'll get back to this part later.) As of right now the only requirement is that you must be voted in. 2.Military Remember we are not a military clan but we don't want the military clan to walk all over us so we need some kind of military. - Powers the power of the military is not strong I would prefer if we all take up some kind of fighting skill just to know it so we can defend yourself. - Duties The militia must keep emenys off our walls no matter what - Requirements Must have a fighting skill that's it. 3.Taxes there is a tax how much and how you are tax is unsure that will be voted in by the guild 4.Voting there is 2 kinds of voting -the everyday voting by the leaders the leaders each get 1 vote but the manger gets 2 and if they tie up then the hole guild will vote on the matter. -the whole guild voting this happens when the leaders dont come to a conclusion or to change something in this set of rules 5.Making money- there are 3 types of contracts, 1 from other guilds, from a person walking by(small orders like a spear)3. In clan contrast 1. From other guild contrast cone only be receive by Me(Diplomacy guy) or Manger then we will assign the work out to clan members when the payment comes in a tax is taking out then handed out to the workers 2. If a person walks up to you and say ill pay you some money for a spear that's when you can go ok here and collect your money tax free! 3. If guild member orders some parts or weapons its expected to be done free. |
