Names

+ You must register with a first name and last name. If you've signed up with a username like mkid0946 you will be asked to change it.

+ No near-identical names to ones which have already been registered. Try to use a name that is unique to anything else on this site if possible.

+ Don't use a foreign name if your character is not foreign. Don't use a name that doesn't fit your character's nationality - eg. a Russian man wouldn't be called John Smith, just as an English man wouldn't be called Mikhail Petrov.


Applications

+ Give lots of detail! The more information you give, the sooner you can be sorted.

+ Do NOT contact staff members to ask them to read your application. This will only annoy them and they may be busy with other tasks. However, it is acceptable to contact a staff member if your application has been sitting untouched for three days.

+ You shouldn't post within the roleplay until your application has been accepted.


Posting

+ Please use good spelling and grammar. Don't use text talk.

+ No douple posting - that means, please edit your post if you have something to add instead of posting again straight away.

+ If you wish for a thread to be over the PG-13 rating (ie. the R rating), please place this rating in the subtitle. If you wish to do an NC-17 roleplay, please take it to PMs.

+ Please don't change colours or fonts in your posts - this makes it harder to read and may confuse people or clash with the board colours. Exception - within the character plotting forum.

+ Posts should be at least five lines long, preferably more. I know that sometimes it can be hard to come up with a novel-length post every time, so it will be overlooked on occasion. However, if it becomes more regular, you will receive a warning. This doesn't apply to out-of-character posts.


Roleplay

+ No god-moding. Full stop.

+ Roleplay posts are to be in the past tense and in third person.


Signatures & Avatars

+ Signature images should be no bigger than 400 x 150 pixels or seven lines of text.

+ Avatars should be no bigger than 110x110 pixels, and should not be anime characters. If an actor is specified for a canon character, please use pictures of that person and no one else. If you wish to debate this, please contact the admin.


Chatbox

+ Be nice. Don't start any arguments, please.

+ No advertising in the chatbox - that's what the advertising forum is for.
