BB's Geekiranger Thread, With all the fun of the laundromat!

Here are my last few updates at Tfans:

So, rumor is Geki Chopper is an orange ranger with either a rhino motif and/or a sai blade weapon/changer (sai means rhino, but it could still go both ways). I guess he gets a whole mecha to himself, which might explain why Geki Violet was so shafted when they were handing out mecha.

And Kamen Rider Zeronos gets a "Zero Form"? Isn't that a tad repetitive? More repetitive than Captain Climax and his Climax Form.

Whats the story behind that awesome team up?

Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd's magically aged son, Thrax comes to earth after breaking free from a dumpster prison he was put in by Sentinel Knight (OO's Zubaan). He gathers the villains of earth and brings them together to form an alliance and royally kick the Overdrive Rangers' asses and severs their link to the Universal Morphing Grid, so that even if they repair their Trackers, they won't be able to morph.

The powerless teens decide that even though they are no longer Power Rangers they can still fight, so they follow Kamdor and Mig to Stonehenge, where they fight until they get their butts kicked again. Suddenly before they are finished off, the villains are attacked by several "retro" rangers, who demorph after they make the two retreat.

Sentinel Knight explains he gathered the five and restored their powers to replace them. The whiny OO rangers decide they are unwanted and go back to their old lives to let the Retro Rangers handle the evil alliance of villains.

And that's how part one ends...

He's part human-like witch thing and part muscley skeleton thingy (he was probably born before the fate of Zedd and Rita)

And they're passing off the team-up as just any old OO two-parter, which is a total load of bull. Its not every day they that Johnny Yong Bosch returns to Power Rangers. At least change the opening you lazy Power Rangers-making people you!


The show is still more explosions than character development though (although the team-up episode has some great choreography after the Retro Rangers take over)

Man, it's times like these that I think that not even Bruce Kalish and Kouichi Sakamoto with one hundred tons of explosives could ruin this series when they get their hands on it... of course they can though

Is that upgrade armor new to this episode?

Also, did they have to use more than one megazord in the battle?
It seems like a waste to put them all in, and only use one...

Yes, in this episode (which we probably wont have clips of until tomorrow at the earliest) is the introduction to the Geki Claw, Super Gekiranger, Geki Kong, Geki Penguin, Geki Gazelle and Geki Fire. The other Geki Beast are just cameoing to show us that they will not be forgotten just because the rangers have a new mecha.

Geki Sharkfire (or whatever the hell they're gonna call it) is from the preview for Gekiranger Training 22 (Along with the Super Gekiranger using Geki Bazooka)

Geki Rintouja is from the Gekiranger The Movie preview



There's a rumor that Geki Violet and the third Kenma, "Maku" will make their first appearance in Training 23 (and will last until 26). Which means this season is moving incredibly fast. PR will have no chance of stuffing it into 32 episodes and having it make any sense.

So Geki Rintouja is a movie exclusive right?

As much as any other Movie exclusive, It will probably appear later in the series (When Rio and Mele turn good for real)
