Taking a Break

[Aine West]

Aine felt the smell of booze and cigar smoke meet her nose as she pushed open the door to the pub and stepped in. Of course she was one of the usuals here but she had stopped going recently as she had been too tired and stressed out. She walked over to the counter and let herself jump onto her favorite stool. She gave the bartender a smile and set a couple of coins on the counter, "1 bottle of Firewhiskey please."

[Kamron Wheeler]

"Same here." Kam requested, as he walked up behind a woman who was ordering a firewiskey. "I could really use one right now."

[Aine West]

Aine turned on her stool and looked at the man. She smiled as she began to look him up and down, "What would a fine man like yourself need with a firewhiskey?"

[Kamron Wheeler]

"I'd bore you to sleep if I told you all the reasons. I'd rather not do that." Kam smirked at the woman, as he situated himself on one of the stools.

[Aine West]

Aine smirked at his answer before turning to grab her firewhiskey. After she took a mouthful she turned back to the guy, "Go ahead, I have all night."

[Kamron Wheeler]

"If you insist." Kam shrugged, looking up from the firewiskey he'd not yet started drinking. "Really, it's not as bad as I make it seem. I've just been loaded down with work lately. Being and Auror defenatly isn't all fun and games. Had to figure that one out the hard way."

[Aine West]

Aine set her head on her hand and looked interested, "Really? Same here, only difference is I'm not an auror."

[Kamron Wheeler]

"What do you do then?" Kam asked politely, before taking a rather large gulp of his firewiskey. It was a suprise that he didn't choke on it, but then, he was used to drinking.

[Aine West]

Aine smiled in her own original cute way then sighed, "I work as the Welcome Witch at Saint Mungo's." She took another couple of mouthfulls of Firewhiskey right after. Just the thought of work started to stress her out.

[Kamron Wheeler]

"A welcome witch? Hmm..." Kam grinned. "I wouldn't mind being greeted by someone like you. You have a nice smile."

[Aine West]

Aine smiled, "I wouldn't mind greeting somebody like you. You're a lot easier on the eyes then most of the people who end up in there."

[Kamron Wheeler]

"Can't be all that pleasant with all those bloody injuries." Kam frowned. "But then there are those annyoing people who think they know how to do your job better than you..."

[Aine West]

Aine laughed, "That's the reason why I signed up for the job. Turns out I can be just as grumpy as the old one."

[Kamron Wheeler]

"Yeah, I usually just tell the bossy ones to piss off. I usually look threatening enough that scares them off." Kam looked rather smug, and took another drink of firewiskey.

[Aine West]

Aine smiled, "Sounds like fun. Too bad I never get the chance to do that."
