I want your opinion on something.

Alright, I do believe everyone's noticed one big thing: the RPG's practically dead.

Believe it or not, I am trying to get things together for the post-Diamond/Pearl version RPG. I've got a great start on my event ideas, and I'm going to start working on a site design soon as well. However, since I'm the only one who seems to be reffing at the moment...

Yeah, I can't get much behind-the-scenes work done if I have to do all the reffing as well.

I know some of you are in school; I understand this. Yet even though I'm in college, I still manage to find the time to check the boards at least once a night. Don't worry. The Internet won't bite.

Anyways, I was wondering: Do you think we should archive the current version? There are obviously advantages and disadvantages to this:

Advantages
I get to work on everything for the new RPG, and we might actually release earlier than the US release date! (Depends on when we get all of the English Pokémon and move names.)

The board will remain open, so you can still talk to everybody. You can also make feature requests for the next version, and I'll see what I can do to implement them. (I'll be opening up a new Feature Requests board in Suggestions/Comments just for that purpose.)

The Alt RPG's will remain open too, if you want to make one.

You can even still take a ref test. I'm revamping the tests as well, so as to make them not only easier, but also a bit on the fun side. (This isn't to say that any idiot can become a ref though; you still have to know your stuff.)

Disadvantages
Obviously, you can't catch/train/cyop/do anything related to BPRPG. Don't worry. Diamond and Pearl are only 2 months away.

I think we should shut it down. Like you said, it HAS died, and it is less for everyone to worry about. And, besides, not much use playing if it is just going to reset soon...
Are we going to use the new D/P sprites for all of the pokemon?

I want to no how to play or how to get to the game!!!!!

Anyways, Yeah, we should probably Shut down, Though while it hurts Membership (har har) We really aren't going anywhere. It seems everything has one thing or another to distract them, and most older members aren't as.. Concerned, since they know what's ahead anyways.

A long time it has been guys. I've decided for the mean time I would come back. After all even though I stopped back in July 2006 for the reasons as the veterns will know, both Zeo and I have kept the original site alive. And in all the time of reading posts that happened in 2004 into 2005....which was my first starting years. Back when it wasn't rage, it was talon. When it wasn't Hedge it was BB....you get the point....

So Shut it down like you normally do guys....If I recall this would be the second restart without bolt.....the first being after I left. The third for me as bolt had a reset mid-way in 2005, the fourth for veterns and fifth for the real ol' veterns.

Man time sure does fly.......

besides since Rage won't restart NTRE.....looks like Zeo and I would have to....someone has to play the villain ~_~.

I don't know much about D/P....personally i'm old fashioned....still reliving the R/B/Y and G/S/C days everytime I pick up my GBC once in a blue moon. I'd be willing to quick ref like I used to back in the day....but no distractions to it.

A lot of you are famed for talking more so over or having a lot of distractions .... egh this old dog here is talking too much but then again last time I talked to talon was back in november....so don't get too much internet company.....

As for NTRE... it was.. 'closed' for a reason. Sent into NPC mode, though it's Hedge that'll decide whether he uses it or not... As for why.. well, I felt it was time to move on. And... Passed it on to an NPC of the leader I thought should be in charge anyways. While I'd perfer it stay that ways, it wouldn't bother me to, say, have it open to Player membership.

And... Who said there wasn't villian? Me thinks you missed something Big time mon.

I gotta say shut it down. As for why I don't ref anymore? Lack of motivation. Seriously, I'll get motivated in something for a few days, a few hours, whatever, and than BOOM! Motivations gone for an unknown lenth of time.
