While doing some fiddling around, Bolt apparently got some things set up for a Bravenet chatroom that uses Java. It takes a little while to load, but if you don't have AIM, MSN, or another messenging service and don't mind waiting for something to load, all you have to do is click the
Chatroom Test link at the top of the board (Or, alternatively, just
You'll also notice there that I have a link to download Chatzilla, a Firefox-based client that allows you to enter an IRC chatroom. If you're unfamiliar with IRC, it's basically similar to a messenging service, only you can use almost any name you want (though some are protected), specific people can change a predefined topic in case the channel (room) is reserved for a battle or event, or it can be used for general discussion. I'm going to write up a FAQ of applicable purposes and commands for the IRC chat soon; I'll post it when I'm done. Look in the
Chatroom Test link for instructions, and ask me if you have any questions on the IRC.
