And why is Chicken Express's sweet tea so darn good? I swear I could easily drink an entire gallon of it. I don't care for their food much (except maybe the rolls) but their sweet tea is frickin delicious, it's better than McAlister's & the sweet tea we make at home.

I don't know if you have gotten your first paycheck, but you might want to invest in some nice sneakers/boots/shoes with good support.

For now, you could get some dr. schols inserts for like $15. Not the best fix, as these things wear out quick and get stinky.

I had gotten some inserts today. They did not help.


My dad suggested putting on two pairs of socks. That might help a little. They're new shoes and they're okay fitting, though they're starting to get a tad bit too small. I don't think they were designed for standing, which my job is. I wish I could sit down more, but I can't. I have to always be moving, moving, moving.

Haha, my first paycheck won't come for two weeks. They hired me RIGHT after the first payday, go figure x3. From this Friday to next Friday, I will be working 20 hours. Not a whole lot, but it wears on ya.

I'm just realising today that I probably looked like hell with my shuffling and heavy leaning on the shopping carts. That needs to change, because Indiana's At-Will Employment means that they can fire me. And I'm starting to notice that they are firing people.

HOLY SHIT.

What to do for the 1.5 hour long silent movie I have to have done by the end of the school year.
We somehow ended up talking about silent movies & then their length in art today and my response to, "There probably couldn't be a silent movie that's 1 and a half hours long without just getting boring" statement was, "Challenge accepted!" xD
At least I'm not the only person of our group making one because another friend accepted the challenge when he heard about it.
I'm excited and worried, and very very thankful I have a light box.

And looking forward to the animation collaboration our group in art hopes to do for our final.

Modern society is based on explosions.

The combustion engine used by every vehicle uses fuel and electricity to explode hundreds of times per minute. Without modern transportation - taking food from agricultural centers and distributing it in far-off places daily, extending the scope of area the average person can live and operate in easily and on a daily basis - society would collapse, no longer to sustain current levels of mass specialization.

Modern weaponry is either explosive - grenades, missiles, etc - or throws things really hard via exploding something behind it. The latter, firearms, are so devastating that it completely changed warfare. The most technologically advanced equipment of the time of it's birth - plate armor and whatnot - were wholly ineffective against them.

Michael Bay is the lord of explosions.

All super hero costumes in comic books are way unpractical, what with their spandex and bright colors and all.


But, hell, it's a friggin comic book meant for entertainment. Not like it's gonna suddenly turn every woman who reads it into a blonde bombshell with super strength and flight capability.

But eh, feminazis.

Feministas get butthurt about anything and everything.
