So, I found out about this forum a while ago while searching for art forums. I doodle quite a bit, and actually found this forum by constantly browsing google for a good art sight. This forum seems active enough and has a good mix from beginning artists to advanced.
I am in no way an artist, haha, just an adult with an over active imagination.

A little about me
Job: Soldier, leaving for basic in about a month
I speak 3 languages fluently, constantly learning more. I can speak basic arabic and german also. I travelled (before joining) the world frequently and lived in Italy for one year on a student exchange program in high school.

Drawing career: I have been drawing my whole life, started trying to draw manga whenever pokèmon first came out, and then finally after about 8 years of that realized I have no perception whatsoever of ratio, but I took that curse and made it into a skill :ysmile: I now draw cartoons (like comic strip type) and have based many of the drawings off of drawings I've made through the years.

You all seem like a kind and laid back kind of people. Hope to get to know you guys well :).

Oh, another new one?
Hopefully this one stays.

Nice to meet you, USAF1. Lookin' forward to seeing a new face around and hopefully you can withstand our ridiculous levels of insanity.

So, other than linguistics, art, and the military, what else are you into?

@ Evi: Haha, no. I speak very basic german and arabic. I know the basic present tense verb conjugations (Which believe me, in arabic that's a feat in itself). I speak Italian and Spanish fluently. (Italian native like, spanish I learned in school, but I use an Italian accent with -_-)

@Blue. Thank you for the leniency :ysweat:

@ Necro: I used to be a kickboxer. I love cards, TCG, poker, blackjack, anything like that. I think I just like the design haha. I played piano for a long time, which I still do play, but it is only to show off. :). And I LOVE movies. I go see one once a week. And then of course my girlfriend, haha.

Welcome USAF1. Trust me, homo-erotic posts are rare. We generally prefer conversations about pancakes.

Seriously, learning even a few sentences in Arabic is commendable.

Nodame Cantabile

episode 10.. probably 10 minutes in.

BEST SCENE in the whole drama.. I died the first time i saw it. especially with all the heavy breathing.. XD

the rest of the drama is Super OTT but its cute, not a fav, but i wouldnt mind watching it again... That shirt guy gets so many stalkers of both sexes by the end of the series. XD

This sounds familiar and I have -no- idea why. It's not a Korean drama right.

Maybe I'm just confusing it with Cantaperme.

One of these days a new person will stay after out hazing.
I'm not sure what I will think of that person's psyche.

Isn't it better to have a hazing then absolutely no replies to your 'hello' thread XD? Why they never stay is beyond me.

Gay-hazing someone that is part of the US Military is a 100% guaranteed way to scare them away. Even if they were not homophobic, even suspicion is enough to get you kicked out. It's playing with his job and livelyhood.

Obviously I wish it were not true, but you can thank Clinton for his "Don't Ask Don't Tell" compromise. It was bigotry before, and that just continued the problems. Of course living in a Christian nation, every president has been too afraid to fully repeal the act. Obama started it, and while it has passed, Obama is still sitting on his thumbs to give it final approval. Because, ya know, whether you like boys or girls dictates will hurt the military.

Really, though, I strongly suggest new hazing subjects. Like Pancake Girl. ;)

I thought Don't Ask Don't Tell was repealed.

Of course, I live under a rock, so I can't really keep up with all that.

hmm but the rest of our site is sooo homolust free. >_> even in this thread MOST aren't and if they are they are only slightly suggestive. ppl could just ignore the thread and talk to us.

Im sure they leave for other reasons. This site is slower than a lot of ppl are used to.

honestly though if you want something different just do something different XD
