Wow Tin! That's a really great idea! It needs to be pinned!

Maybe we could use the thumbs from MR directly?

I know. :ycry: I still got the thumb from my tutorial. XD

I know that it might be some work but you could post a list on MR of the tutorial you collected/saved and others could help saving the thumbs. I have a little bit of time tomorrow, so I could help. Even if it's just an hour or so.

the wayback machine seems to be missing images used in tutorials.
or at least in the ones i checked.
i also saved some tutorials but i only grabbed about 45 of them and apparently i accidently skipped over some of the ones i'd have liked to had.

i'll stick them in a .rar file and post a link when i get it uploaded somewhere.

oh... i saved all of mine as a .mht (mime encapsulated web archive) which is the same thing as saving them as html with images but it's all packed in a single file. as far as i know the only two browsers that support the file type are Opera and Internet Explorer.
i know IE sucks and has more security holes than swiss cheese but Opera doesn't. it's the most secure browser i've found firefox included. it isn't as customizable as firefox but it has some nice and interesting features.

Great to hear you saved some too, can't wait till more link are made available to everyone :)

and yeah it does miss images from some of the tutorials and has images for other ones. it because the links are stored on different servers that the wayback machine can't grab from, or the image was deleted when the site went to grab them..

I worked how to grab images myself, i can grab all the tutorials that i can get the images for and upload them. :)

[MangaRevTutorials.zip on RapidShare]
so here's the link to all the tutorials that i saved. they're all .mht files so, unless something has changed recently, you'll have to use [Opera Web Browser] or Microsoft Internet Explorer to open them.
