while reading that, i came up with this whole crazy secret scenario that involved real mutants. i mean.. that guy had freaking trees for hands.. i thought about how during our entire life, we want to have a "good immune system" and a certain number of specific blood cells. and we don't want to get any "disease". what if it was all gibberish and that our "immune system" is keeping humans from the next step in evolution and what we though 'disease' was is actually something that awakens our abilities?

i thought it'd make for a good comic or something.
