Sorry for the double post..

So I've decided I need to lose some weight. I'm Day 2 into my diet and today was the first day of my Couch to 5k exercise program.

My legs hurt. But I feel good for once.

I am dying of stress. but my supervisor has shown interest in helping me get my research published, which means its not completely shite, because her name will be associated with it.

s;ahfjhjhhdsahdh I just want to share my happiness with someone. I can't believe this is my life right now.

Some academic in the UK (realised I probably shouldn't use his name incase he googles himself) READ MY RESEARCH.
and said it was "impressive" (for an undergraduate)
and hoped I would be persuaded to continue with postgraduate work.

(this probably means nothing to almost everyone but me, but this particular academic has become my intellectual hero over the year. Nearly all the research on
Disabilities and CA has his name somewhere on the author list) He works in the UK, I have never met or talked to him, My supervisor just sent my report to him to ask him if he thought it could be published and he did.

I think I cried when I read the email.

I can't believe this is the end result of a project where for most of the time I was panicing because I thought I couldn't get data, or my data was crap, or I couldn't analyse it.

I got power back yesterday yaaayyyyyyy!

I actually hugged my refrigerator, and had this for dinner last night:

Chicken, asparagus and red peppers with quinoa cooked in chicken broth. Probably the most colorful dinner I've had in several days. It was awesome, and I still have more in my COLD FRIDGE! 8D

I feel bad for my landlord though, he was stuck in this the entire 13 days. I was staying with my brother during the week of the storm, (we lost power for only 4 days, had a generator) and then after coming back here Tuesday, stayed with a new friend for a couple of days who had power, only to come back here for the extended weekend.

It was nice to return to normalcy, but it reminded me that I am once again alone here.........*sigh*

Ah my supervisor told me my unoffical mark for my research (which is worth two whole papers) is an A. it still has to be externally examined but she had nothing but praise for it.

she said with a few tweeks we can probably get it published.

I have decided that in order to make good friends, I need to make some changes.

So no more wall-texts of doom on the forums from me! I am going to start by no longer rambling about pointless shit!

So good thing today: I started my final series project in my drawing class on anxiety. I hope it comes out good!

I took my last final, hopefully ever today. Will hopefully find out the grade in a couple days and if I pass I'm done with college finally.

Either way I am walking this Saturday.

I think I went in to final with a mid to high C average. So unless I absolutely bomb the final exam I think I can pull it off.

Technically a D gets me credit, so I'll take what I can get at this point.
