Working on a flash game with a comp sci major friend of mine, he's handling all the code and I'm in charge of concept, animation, and writing. We'll likely divide up level design and sound between us.

Here's the protagonist of this yet unnamed flash platformer, Kentael the Reaper.

A little spread to show the basic design for the character, some practice on expressions. I still suck horrible ass at eyes. The raven, his familiar, is his scythe, cloak, wings, and constant companion and partner in his work reaping souls. He will speak entirely in trochaic octameter and give eulogies to each boss after they're defeated.

A WIP, really liking the character, so I want to do a couple of finished pieces of him and such, get a real feel for him before we go into full-on production mode. That scythe is a pain to ink.

Redesign of an old character, Raki. We were discussing using him as the protagonist in the platformer, but we decided to go with a more lighthearted story and less complex gameplay, so he's going back in the vault so to speak. If we're any good at this whole making games thing we might see him starring in a metroidvania-styled platformer with the ridiculous powerscaling present in NIS games.

Raki's still unnamed lover, who would have been the female lead in that game. Absolutely no cleanup done on this one, but I was really just trying to pump out designs at the time and didn't realize I should do cleanup while I'm inking just yet.
