Best sports manga I've ever read, it's so great :cry: every new chapter constantly reminds me how awesome the series is, its like each page just shouts out ownage and slaps your face with a wad of awesome.. Er yeh.

You might notice that after chapter 156 it jumps to chapter 163, then after 164 it jumpes to chapter 190. This is because there was a delay in releases by the scanlating group f***ing-manga (f-m) so other people decided to translate other chapters, and only recently did f-m release volume 17. f-m's scanlations are high quality so I'd advise you to download up to 156 and wait for them to release the other chapters, I think volume 18 chapters will be uploaded on tuesday.

what sport is it?

American football, which I actually kinda dislike, but the manga makes it cool =P

I aint seen it, but i'd assume its pretty popular. Most of the jap anime sites i come across feature it on the front page.

I never read this because of the football theme, but if you say the manga makes it cool, maybe I'll give it a shot.

Some good series come outa wierd themes.
Prince of Tennis, Hikaru no Go, Yakitate Japan, are all top rated manga/anime which have seemingly dull themes. So i'll bet this football series is indeed great.

Yep I don't like tennis, but I like the prince of tennis series. When I heard they made a manga about bread, curry and go, I laughed, but they're some of the best series that I've read

A lot of the sports animes/mangas give other sports animes/mangas bad names.... This one really isn't one of them. Really good series with a spotless storyline. I haven't caught up because I've been reading a lot of other stuff... But yeah very good... Even if you aren't a sports fan I believe you can get into it.

Ive just read the first several chapters. Its gets really good once it fires up. Funny too. Man Hiruma's awsome, he's being added to my favourite characters list.

oh... eyeshield. great manga. the art makes me go crazy. When Eyeshield's artist decides to do speed he does SPEED... never in a manga have i seen velocity done so well. thats one of the most intriguing things of this manga.

and i have to agree with des, no other manga has such a bad-ass character. i've never seen a character blackmail ppl to help him by getting pictures of them naked... or stealing another teams cheerleaders... its just crazy, and they have no shame in giving him such a devilish appearence, ears and all. to the artist, it just makes sense.

great manga, and great art. a definite MUST READ.

Indeed, this is getting better by the chapter.
I personally wouldnt call Hiruma the most badass character (Hitokiri Battousai = too badass for words), but he's deffinately one of my favourites. He's the man.

Hiruma is just hilarious though... His random guns and other tactics... I love how he overkills stuff like when he shot a rocket launcher to start a time trial run lol. And yes battousai owns... But yeah I'm probably gonna get back on track with it after i get back with one piece and find out where i left off :wehe:

I luv his dont-care attitude, he pulls it off with so much character

hiruma is kickass :D especialy cause a lot later on you see that everything thats happened he was planning for aaaaages back.. total coolness :P

Yeh this story is quite well planned too. Not in the league of 20th century boys or deathnote or anything, but you can still tell that the author thought ahead and is connecting things together.

lol i think i just tripped in ahead with this series. I was reading chapter 133, then it suddenly jumped to 152.
Problem = Stoptazmo doesnt have chapters 134-151 for some reason. Know where i can get?
Ive noticed Stoptazmo is also missing chapters 165-189.
