I love Knights Of Cydonia.

Last night I watched the entire videography of Muse; from Uno to Starlight XD

Requiem - September 10, 2006 04:51 PM (GMT)

my favorite video from them is hurricanes & butterflies. I just love the style.

Spoon - September 10, 2006 04:55 PM (GMT)
Gotta love the piano solo in that too

Requiem - September 10, 2006 05:14 PM (GMT)
oh hell yeah :D its probably the best piano moment from Muse.

Spoon - September 10, 2006 05:17 PM (GMT)
I love the video for Bliss and one of my favourite tracks is Stockholm Syndrome. You're so lucky you got to see them :grumpy:

Requiem - September 10, 2006 06:42 PM (GMT)

Spoon - November 20, 2006 09:58 PM (GMT)
I went to a Ska festival last night, from 3 pm to 12 am (left abit before that though). I'm not really a fan of Ska music but I enjoyed the gig none the less. Beer helped.

I was chatted up by two girls who seemed intrested but then vanished (better luck next time, eh... maybe i should had made it clear i was just going to the toliet XD) & I got my feet stomped on a few times when the growd went wild and started banging into each other... i woke up with sores and blisters on my feet XD

On the way back we stopped off at about 5 different take-aways on a sort of mission.

I hadn't heard of any of the bands but the first few where alright, then it just seemed to blend together into a big blurry mess, it took ages for each band to change over which was lame.

Emak - November 21, 2006 04:41 AM (GMT)
whew... I love concerts!

Spoon - November 21, 2006 06:05 PM (GMT)

Woot! My band just got another gig ^_^
This December, at some wedding reception! YES!

Spoon - November 22, 2006 07:03 PM (GMT)
Sweet news man!

what sorta music do you play? I think you said Christian rock in one thread, can't remember. If it was rock then that would be one awesome wedding!

Emak - November 22, 2006 07:11 PM (GMT)
yes, Christian Rock. We have done a wedding or two before, gah.. that reminds me of one that we did... We were playing, people were dancing, yelling, cheering... I was so pumped, I climbed up on the speaker as the next song started up... as soon as the song started picking up, I freakin jumped off the speaker!! Everybody in the crowd was going nuts, but I did it wrong and broke a string (little E string :owned: ) luckily I had a spare, put it in real quick on the break, but w/ it being a new string and all, my guitar kept going outta tune... blah.. bad memories

wakka9876 - November 22, 2006 07:19 PM (GMT)

maniac086 - November 30, 2006 10:14 PM (GMT)
Uh... I saw the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in concert when I was 5... does that count?

I've also been to a Wierd Al concert...

They have free concerts down by our riverfront every 4th of July weekend and usually get some top Country performers as the headliners. I've personally only been to one a few of those, but last year I saw John Michael Montgomery. Yeah, the name may not mean much to anybody here (haha!), but it was a pretty good concert, especially considering he was obviously drunk almost the whole time. And he did some pretty rockin' encore jams too, with a rendition of Sweet Home Alabama lasting for about 15 minutes.

Another Country performer that I've kinda seen is Billy Ray Cyrus. Yeah, the guy on Hannah Montana... whatever... anyway, he's from my town and went to my high school. He came in for a surprise mini-show at our school's Veteran's Day assembly a few years back. It was pretty cool, in my opinion...

Aaand... yeah, that's about all I've seen, aside from a few friends' gigs...

Shinigami Nabeshin - November 30, 2006 11:14 PM (GMT)
ninja turtles AND weird al?! mannn i wish i saw them... weird al must of been excelent haha

i realy wanna go see arcade fire more than any band at the moment..

maniac086 - November 30, 2006 11:22 PM (GMT)
hahaha! I just remmebered Wierd Al's encore was The Saga Begins (the Star Wars parody of Miss American Pie)... I think he actually even threw on some Jedi garb for it... XD
I was just excited that he sang Fat...! "Yo! Ding dong, man. Ding dong. Ding dong, yo!" hahahaha!

saru - December 20, 2006 11:10 AM (GMT)
