GENERAL RULES - Apply to all boards:

1. Post on the correct board: Descriptions of all the boards can be found on the main index page to the forum.

2. No spamming: Nothing less than sentence size responses are allowed. This includes games that require only a couple words to make a post. This also includes posts with no substance in them. Make the post mean something to the topic.
S = Stupid
P = Pointless
A = Annoying
M = Messages

3. No flaming: Swearing, cussing, bad mouthing, profanity etc. will not be tolerated. No use of profanity that is changed by adding a letter to the word just so it gets by the censors on these boards. These posts will be removed and the poster will be "brought to our attention" for immediate temporary banning or IP banning. (will result in a 1-3 day temporary ban.)


4. No Caps: Putting CAPS in the topic title will results in immediate locking of the topic and a warning for the users who created it. Typing in all caps is also not allowed. If you start typing and notice you are typing in all caps, click on that caps lock button to the left on your keyboard. Typing in all caps is considered shouting and is not proper etiquette, not to mention it is harder to read.

5. Forbidden Topics:
a. No listings of cheat/hack/keylogger sites - The posters of these sites will be banned without any discussions.
b. No posting virus or keylogger related posts/links
c. No posting topics about racism, sexism, or any other -ism is allowed. Even if the topic is about saying the subject is wrong, it is not allowed. For it can result in flaming from the other side of the debate.

6. Any double posts will be deleted.

7. Size restriction on Avatar and Signature Images: The maximum size for signatures is 700 width by 200 height (this includes the text below it). Spacing and line breaks do not matter as long as its not excessive. If the total of the images and the text size is 250 then the size is acceptable. The maximum size for avatars is 100 width by 100 height with a maximum.

If your signature block is a few pixels bigger than this it is ok as long as the image sizes and text pixel size does not exceed 250 px. Admins reserve the right to make final judgements on signature size.


Anyone failing to follow this rule will have their signature removed and/or replaced by a signature by the staff.

8. DO NOT ask to be a mod or a part of any other user group: This includes mentioning that you would be good in that group, or you would like to be in it someday. Most of the time asking to be a mod or in any other group will result in the exclusion of that person from ever getting into that group.


9. Don’t Accuse Cheaters: Please do not accuse members of cheating,plagiarizing, etc. unless you have proof to back it up. Anyone accusing a member of one of these wrong-doings without the correct proof will get the topic locked as well as a user note.


10. Innappropriate Material: No posting any kind of material, graphic or otherwise, that may be found inappropriate or obscene to the RSR age range.

11. Plagiarism is strictly forbidden: here and is throughout the entire internet and United States (along with almost all other countries). Copying somebody,s
(sig advatar ripping etc)

11. Moderating Other Members: is not in any way allowed. This includes saying that a certain person deserves a warning, or acting more superior to other members. If you wish to help out, or report someone, simply private message a moderator telling him/her what is wrong, and a link to that topic. DO NOT go on that topic and say they are breaking a rule. For you will receive punishment as well as the original offender.


12. Common Sense: You must use your brain; common sense. Also use common sense to show respect. You should show respect to others, as well as the moderators.

13. You are responsible for your IP: Whatever happens on your IP is your responsibility. Should you have siblings or family members using your computer and they do something, it is your responsibility. By following this rule, you have a right to an appeal should a ban be issued to your IP or account due to a wrong-doing on that IP. Should you go publicly with the issue and create more of a problem, your chance for an appeal shall be removed, and you lose all chances of returning to island. Anyone participating in an unsanctioned (unapproved by a mod/admin) appeal will also receive a punishment consisting of a user note or a temporary ban.


14. Posing: Creating an account nearly exactly like someone else's account for any purpose. Creating an account similar to the name of another account is also not allowed. Ex. (iceman4224) was created as a poser of iceman2. Should you see someone like this, report it to a mod immediately. Also, be aware of them. Know who the mods are and how you can tell the difference. Any accounts caught like this will be banned.

15. False Links: Using false links for the sole purpose of scaring people and tricking them to go somewhere they don't want to go is against the rules. People found doing this will recieve a user note and a verbal warning. The second offense will result in a temporary ban of 1 day.

16. Leet-speak And other forms of purposeful miss-spellings of words and misuse of grammer will not be allowed. This leads to not being able to read posts and misinterpretaion.

17. Mod/Admin Rule/Say is Final If a mod/admin says, don't do it, it means, don't do it. If they say stop, you better stop. What the mod/admin says, is final.
