My first anime was on TV. I'm not sure what it was though. It was either Card Captor Sakura, Dragon Ball, or Sailor Moon.

Now that I think more about it. I think I watched Sailor Moon before any Dragon Ball series.

My first was pokémon, then kenshin, then DBZ.
It was kenshin (and later onegai sensei) who got me into the anime scene

The first anime that I saw was probably Voltron. Then, my older brother brought home on VHS Record of Lodoss War and Devilman. I didn't really start getting into anime until I went to college and found out about IRC. First series that I d/l was Flame of Recca.

I cant remember the name, but i musta been like 3 yrs old in Bali or sumthin, it was a wierd anime about racing electric toy cars...
after that it was dragon ball when i was about 4 yrs old.

It was transformers and i think thunder cats but i watched them as a child. But the first anime i watched and liked was probably pokemon, digimon or gundam wing.

I think the very first I watched was pokemon, I don't remember what I watched in between that and Hellsing though. After Hellsing I started watching everything of an anime rather than just parts.

i Agree with kila, it maybe dragonball in Chinese. But i can't recall thought since it was a bit different when i saw the one that was dub in english. Not that im saying that there was editing.
other than that, my first anime between dragonball that was aired around 1992-1994 or Gatchaman
