Julia too was in search of new robes. Many of her old things were still at her grandparents house, and she didn't dare even to try and get them. Her little waitressing job put some money in her pocket, but not much. For the first time in her life, Julia was shopping under a budget.
Reluctantly, Julia drifted over to the sales rack and shifted through the different sets of robes. Pitiful. They were either defective, or horribly out of style. With a sigh, Julia lifted a plain frock from the rack that didn't really suit her expensive taste. "Might as well try it on," she muttered under her breath.
They were a little big, and needed to be altered a bit. Madam Malkin was already fitting another woman, so Julia hovered impatiently nearby. She wasn't used to this way of shopping. Shallow pockets, waiting. Julia bit her lip and shifted from foot to foot, clearly agitated.
