1) Thou Shall Not Make Thy Character Undefeatable - If you don’t understand this it’s better explained in the FaQ. Your character can not have every power going, your character cannot be unaffected by all the other characters powers, you character can not be better than everyone at everything – let’s face it, no one likes a show off! Also your character cannot use powers not mentioned in their profile except under special circumstances, and you MUST explain these circumstances in an OOC note.

2) Thou Shall Not Hurt Another Character Badly Without Express Permission – This is just polite, further explained in the FaQ. A little OOC note in your post is all it takes.

3) Thou Shall Read The FAQ – That’s what it’s there for… If you have questions not answered in it, reply to the topic.

4) Thou Shall Treat Others With Respect – Treat others as you wish to be treated. Rudeness, especially to our staff who are just trying to do their jobs and make Haven fun for everyone, WILL NOT be tolerated.

5) Thou Shall Not Spam – Please try and put some substance into your posts – especially the RPG ones. One line posts or less is not RPing – it’s spamming. Put thought into your posts, try and give the other players something to respond to. Occasionally there is a need for short posts, but only occasionally. I want to see Paragraphs people! :p Also please try not to double post – the edit button is there for a reason, it’s not hard to use it if you need to add to a post. Thank you for reading the rules.

6) Thou Shall Keep Ajan Adnô Safe For The Eyes of Children - Posts must be kept PG13 unless they are in the password protected forums. Use your intuition here guys, if there is touching below the waist, then you must place *Warning Mature Content* in the topic title. As a general rule of thumb, if you use the words “pulsating“, “throbbing“, and “erect “ in a sentence and you‘re NOT describing the alien signaling tower comprised of illuminated electrons, do not expect your story to survive the queue.’ – ditto to that ^^ Anything graphic must go in one of the adult sections. If you aren’t sure about a topic, pm an Admin. Members under the age of 15 will not be given the passwords to adult areas, don’t try lying about your age either…you will be caught and likely banned.

7) Thou Shall Not Hijack Threads - If someone creates a thread, they probably want to RP in it! Please don't go into someone elses thread with your friends and then proceed to make 50 + posts that has nothing to do with the original character. What is that character doing while your characters are doing all this? Picking their ear? lol. This can happen by accident - so don't panic - just pm an admin and we will split the topic for you. However if this happens a lot you will be warned. If you are in a thread and another character leaves that thread, then thread is then yours so the rule doesn't apply in that case.

8) Thou shall respect what the topic starter says. If the description benith the title says that no one can enter it accept hers/his friends listen. If it says PM for RP, PM him/her before joining.

9) Thou shall respect that a NPC can join whatever it like it or not whenever it want to, if you are in that kind of section.

10) Thou shall not *bump in treads.
