Iarwath

Two days ago, Iarwath had left Dagnir and Bree. Now she arrived at Weathertop for her meeting with the Warlord of the Haradrim. She looked around her, leading the stolen horse. She wasn't so very fond of this place, but it was a good place to arrange a meeting when you didn't want to be disturbed.

She left her horse tied to a tree and climbed. Once she arrived at the top she looked around. She could see very far from this hight. No one would be able to come close without being seen. This place was perfect. She sat down, enjoying the sight around her. Iarwath liked hights, but hated ruins. They remined her to what had happened with Barad-dûr, the only place she remembered, the place she called home.

In the distance she could see a lonely ride coming. Dagnir without doubt. Impatiently she waited for him to arrive.

Dagnir Dunndurgul

Dagnir saw Weathertop in the distance. He was rather late. It had taken him longer than expected to finish some business before coming here. When he came closer he saw a figure at the top. So, he thought, Iarwath's there already.

Dagnir found the place where Iarwath had left her horse and left his there too. Then he started the climb to the top, to where Iarwath was waiting for him.

He reached it after some time and greeted Iarwath before taking in the view around him. Man, this place was truly beautiful. He should have come here before. And this place is lonely too. A good place for this meeting. In the two days, he had come to the conclusion that he had no choice but coming, as this would help him to gain more power. He broke off his thoughts on the past and turned to Iarwath, waiting for her to tell what she was planning to do and what he would have to do. He hoped it wasn't something that would get him killed, but knowing Iarwath, it would most likely be something that could only be called suicidal.

Iarwath

Iarwath said nothing when Dagnir reached her nor did she return his greeting. She knew he would only listen to her when he had admired the view. When he turned towards her, she smiled. So, she could start.

"I know you were not so very happy at first about the location I had chosen, but as you see it is exactly what we need." Iarwath said, before going to the point.
"As we both are not very fond of great battles and prefer secrecy and speed, I think it is best if we first gather warriors on several places. That way the chance on discovery is smaller. And once we have enough to attack some villages, we work out a plan of attack. Our enemies may not know where we will strike. They will have to divide their troops and then we can defeat them. A great battle we will loose. We will not have the man, and even if we had them, they would not be trained well enough.
No, we will work in small bands and lies and deceit will help us. I know many will supporte our cause, because many are like you, Dagnir. Many desire power enough to take risks. We have to find those people and gather them. At the same time, we have to remove some of those that are against us. Dagnir, you will have to find places where we can keep a lot of men, without that it is noticed. And we need to have a lot of money. I have quite some, but I'm afraid we need more. We need to talk about that too. I know this sounds a little unorganised, but it is something. We need to work out the details, but first I want to know what you think about this." Iarwath finished and waited for Dagnir to reply.

Dagnir Dunndurgul

Dagnir didn't interrupt Iarwath and listened closely. There were some very good ideas, but they needed to work out some more details.

"I agree that we need to gather our followers at places where no one will notice their presence. And we need to avoid that our enemies get any information about what we're planning. So, I agree with that. But I think it'll take some time before we can start with everything. We don't have the men to start right now and it might take some time before we do have enought men to start with that kind of attacks. Luckily we don't need that much warriors to be able to create some chaos. I think I know a place where we can gather part of those warriors." He paused, considering something.

"I might know some people who are willing to help us, but I think, after all that happened with the war and so, few will be wiling to support us openly. Many are afraid of what the King of Gondor can do. So, we need to find something to ensure they help us. It would be good, should King Elessar be too busy hunting someone/something else. Then he wouldn't have the time to bother us and many more will join us."

Dagnir said, thinking about what else they could do and about the possibility to get some Haradrim warriors here. He knew there were probably some that were willing to help him and there were always warlords that wanted more power or needed a war to keep their warriors satisfied.

Iarwath sighed, they had some good ideas, but it was as she had feared, they didn't have enough followers to turn them into reality. They would need to have a lot of patience, a treat Iarwath did not really posses. Fortunately she was an assassin and so able to cause some serious trouble all by herself. She only had to kill the right persons and chaos would come into existence.
"Well, Dagnir, it seems to me we'll have to wait some more. Don't bother too much about what we can do, we can continue doing what we do as long as we stay on the lookout for more followers. I think we better leave this place as soon as possible, because there is always the possibility that others come here. And we may not been seen, certainly not together."
Iarwath tilted her head and listened, something had changed in the time they were here. Iarwath thought someone was near, but she couldn't see anyone, still the feeling did not go away.
"Until we meet again, Dagnir. Don't search me, if I need you I'll come for you."
With that said, Iarwath turned and walked away, quickly disappearing in the darkness.
