Iarwath

Iarwath listened to what Dagnir was telling her. He would be a useful ally, he always had been a useful ally. When he proposed to ensocel someone she smiled. "That's a great idea. I think that would be very useful indeed. I've developed a plan to avenge Sauron, but I'll need warriors and one able to command them. I may be good in fighting and killing, you're much better in commanding. Only, before we can start with all that we'll have to do something about that wizard. He may know who I am and perhaps he even remember you. He'd best not see us together. I think I best leave you know and go asking about the food. We'll speak later." Iarwath said, rising and walking towards the inkeep. While she inquired about the food she kept watching the door that could open any moment to reveal the wizard.

Dagnir Dunndurgul

Dangir studied the people in the room further. Occasionaly his eyes drifted back to where Iarwath was. The wizard was still not there.
He had seen some men already that might be exactly the kind of men he needed. He would try to contact them as soon as the wizard was back inside. He daren't go out and talk to them there out of fear the wizard would hear and recognise him. So he leaned back and waited, resuming his search for others that could serve him, willingly or forced.

Gandalf lost track of time as he sat outside thinking, and smoking his pipe. He began to get cold though and decided to head back inside.
He stood up slowly, he was getting very old, and pushed the wooden door open. He was hit with talking, yelling, laughter, songs, and the chewing of un-mannered men eating.
He looked around for the lady he was with but didnt see her, so he took a seat near the steps, incase she headed back up, or if she was already up there, came back down.
He waved down a waiter and ordered a drink.

Iarwath

Iarwath saw the wizard coming back in and realised he had not seen her. Unfortunatly he went sitting close to the steps so she had no other choice but pass him when she went back to her room.
It turned out that no one remembered her ordering food, so they hadn't prepared any. Iarwath didn't order it anew. She wasn't hungry anymore.
Slowly she made her way towards the steps and inevitably the wizard. She knew she couldn't kill him this time, but next time she certainly would.
"Hey, here I am."

"Hello there, did you inquire about your food?"
Gandalf saw she hadn't got any food with her.
He had very important things to do around middle earth, he had to some how leave soon but find out who this lady was and why he had such bad feelings about her.
Perhaps he was just being silly and she was innocent.. But it pays to be careful.

"Yes, I did, but as they had forgotten about it... I didn't order it anew. I'm not so very hungry anyway." Iarwath said, this time telling the truth. She studied the old man and wondered how she couldn't have seen he was the wizard she hated so mucht, perhaps even more than the others that had helped with the destruction of the ring and with it Sauron. She hated him because he was always the cause of their failure, always he was there to stop Sauron's faithful servants. Iarwath had vowed she would avenge her master and now she vowed to destroy this wizard, whatever the cost.
Nothing of those dark thoughts could be seen on her face, because one it was almost completely hidden and two, she was extremely good in hiding her real feelings.
"Do you wish to continue our talk? I may be not hungry, but I am truly tired." The assassin said, wanting to be away from him as soon as possible. Dagnir had given her a lot to think about and the sooner the wizard left her the sooner she could start with bringing her plans into action.
She waited for the old man's reply impatiently. Feeling like she was wasting her precious time.

Dagnir Dunndurgul

Dagnir realised he was again watching Iarwath who had now joined the wizard. Without thinking Dagnir leaned further back into the shadows. He wanted to talk some more to Iarwaht which was impossible as long as Gandalf was talking to her and yet, he knew better than most how dangerous an allience with Iarwath could be. Iarwath didn't accept failure, not from herself and not from others. Dagnir knew he had done many things that the people here would consider evil, he had tortured and killed many. But still what he had done was nothing compared to Iarwath. Compared to Iarwath Dagnir was good. Allying with Iarwath was dangerous, but it was also rewarding. His desire for power was far greater than his desire for a safe and quiet life. He would help Iarwath when she called him and then he would once more be the one feared by his enemies as well as his servants. Then Dagnir Dunndurgul, Warlord of the Haradrim, would be once more one to be feared.

Gandalf

"Do you wish to continue our talk? I may be not hungry, but I am truly tired."
Gandalf looked up at her, and smiled.
"I will let you rest, as much as i enjoy your company i must be heading off, and I do not wish to stop you from sleeping. Good luck with your travels, maybe we will meet again some time and can talk some more?."
With that he picked up his staff.. Walking stick... And headed towards the door. He looked up at the Inn keeper and gave him a nod, then walked out the prancing pony..

Iarwath

Iarwath hid her smile when she heard the wizard's answer. She was also relieved that she no longer had to be in his company.
"I wish you luck on your travels." She said, though she didn't meant it. She wouldn't mind it if he was killed during his travels. It would be perfect for her plans, but she didn't believe he would be killed. He had survived too much already to die so easely. But he would die, she vowed, he would die by her hand.

She saw him leave, turned and saw Dagnir watching her. If she wanted her plans to succeed, she would need his help. But she knew she couldn't trust Dagnir, he only wanted power and would only be loyal as long as he could gain power with helping her. It didn't matter, Dagnir couldn't be trusted and nor could she. She hesitated one moment and then decided to talk some more to Dagnir. They would have to work out some kind of schedule so that they knew how long they had to find a good plan and gather followers.

She walked over to Dagnir's table. "We have to talk, but not here. Meet me in tow days at Weathertop. There's little chance someone will spy on us there." Without waiting for Dagnir's reply, she went to her room to get some sleep. She knew he would come.

The next morning before sunrise, Iarwath left the inn. She stole a horse somewhere and headed to Weathertop, to meet Dagnir. It had begun.

Dagnir Dunndurgul

Dagnir regretted it that he couldn't hear what the wizard and Iarwath were saying. He simply watched and waited. The wizard would have to leave and then he might have anther chance to talk to Iarwath. He knew he needed her to gain more power. When the wizard finally left, he wondered if he should go to her. The question was answered when Iarwath walked towards her. He admired her fluent way of moving.

"We have to talk, but not here. Meet me in tow days at Weathertop. There's little chance someone will spy on us there."
Dagnir wanted to reply. He didn't want to go to Weathertop. No one would spy on them there, that was true, but Iarwath could kill him as well without someone seeing it. He preferred talking in public places. Before he could voice his complaints however, Iarwath had left again. Now he had no choice but going to meet her at Weathertop.

He rose, paid his drink and left the inn. He took his horse from the stable and rode away. He still had to do some things before he could go to his meeting with Iarwath.
