The Age of MenHome is behind,
the world ahead,
and there are many paths to tread,
through shadow,
to the edge of night,
until the stars are all alight,
mist and shadow,
cloud and shade,
hope shall fail,
all shall fade.
It was foreseen by the wisest that once the one ring was destroyed, a peace would fall across the lands of Middle-Earth, all united under one King. Safety and stability would be returned to the most unbalanced and damaged worlds, broken long ago by the wars that had torn through the beauty of once was, and what was to be once again. The Third Age of Middle-Earth was at an end; the time of Men had come. The shadow of darkness that was to fall though, was not part of the plans.
For centuries allies lived alongside foe; the lands rich with hope, loyalty, and love. Until one seemingly ordinary day of the Fourth Age, the elves rebelled. Most had left for the lands of Valinor at the end of the Third Age by a calling destiny, but not all. Those that remained in Middle-Earth were growing in power and numbers. They bought none but a presence of threat in the eyes of Men. Suddenly pulled back for power, disdain toward men and their way of rule angering once friends, the Elves sought control after centuries of silence and peace. They had watched as mankind built vast prospering cities, destroying much of the beauty of nature that the Elves had once poured into the land. Vengeance was in the air. Ignited by matched fury, mankind retaliated, throwing the lands back into a dark war. The screams of the battlefield, the pain of agony rips through the air. The first human King slain, his heir Gauvain leads a desperate attempt to save the Kingdom of Men. Both sides are fighting for control, both for rightfulness, and both for a future.
The last of the elven King Bellcaunion’s line, his daughter Tirananniel, stands between the division. Her heart lost in the hands of the Prince of Mankind, Arathorn, their love fragile; a delicate rose within a war struck generation. Long has their passion been kept a secret, a dangerous secret that threatens the very existence of hope and glory.
The Age of Men is in danger.....
