The Official Harry Potter & DH, WARNING! SPOILERS!

Alright, well its been a couple of days since the release of Harry Potter & the deathly hallows. Some of you will have finished it already (I know I have), so it seems a good time to open up a discussion about it. Before we start though; and this is only fair to those people that havn't read it yet - make sure that you mark where spoilers begin by using:

Personally I'm cheesed off by two things.

1. The ending. Or rather the abruptness of it. Everything was going more or less great, and then what did they do? An epilogue that jumped 19 years ahead and answered very little in the way of questions to wrap things up after the aftermath.

2. The fact that the Veil (mentioned in HP & OOTP) in the death chamber in the department of mysterys was a. not better explained and b. didn't even come into the story-line at all. Nor did the locked door that melted Harry's lock-pick. Grr.

Also, did many people find that the writing style felt a bit rushed after halfway through? For saying she spent as long as she did writing it that was a bit of a dissapointment.

THE WORST THING however, is the sad realisation that the journey is over. I, as I am sure most people, have grown up with these books along the series, and effectively "grown-up" with Harry as well. Call me sad, but these books have certainly played a huge part in my life, and I hope they have for other people as well.
