Who here has Pokemon Emerald?

Can everybody tell me what they think about this game, and why?

Thanks.

I will start this off:

I think Pokemon Emerald is a good game overall, but I think that there wasn't a point for it, because, it is, basically, Ruby and Sapphire. Why couldn't they just make Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, but, include the Battle Frontier, and other aspects into them? I would definitely agree though, that the Battle Frontier is a great addition to the game.

I thought Emerald was much better than Ruby and Sapphire, actually. Who cares if it's only another version of them, people will still buy it.

Yh, i see your point.

I, origonally, prefer Pokemon Ruby, it just seems more origonal, dunno why.

But, to be fair, you do have a wider variety of Pokemon to catch, and, you can get more Legendaries.

Well, I agree with you, but I still think I am right, lol.

It happens every generation. Theres the 2 base games that entices everyone into it, then there's the new one with added features and stuff.. dont buy D or P now, wait a while and then get the third game in the gen, with the extra stuff already there.

They had the Battle Tower challenges in Emerald, Wild Kyogre and Wild Groudon lv 70s and Rayquaza catchable before the Elite 4 at lv 40.

I was gonna wait for the 3rd game in the 4th gen but I couldn't help myself sad.gif

IMO, Emerald is more different compared to RS than Yellow was to RB or Crystal was to GS...Yellow didn't have any extra plot at all except the whole Pikachu thing.

And I always buy all three games anyway XD *has no life*
