Has anyone besides me decided they like magic so much that they want to read into the story behind the sets that have been brought out?... Did any of you even know there were novels? Normally when a set is released you can buy 'Fat packs' Of the set, containing loads of goodies includeing, a novel, telling the story tht is portrayed through the cards.
Currently i havent read many, but the ones i have read are really good and fun to read, and it makes it more fun to play, when you know the reason why a card was printed.. If you get the chance read these books, if you like fantasy adventure, then these will be a good chance to see what real reading is like... Oh and dont forget to say what you think about them.. The Ravnica book is my favourite to date.. all full of lies and deceit ;-) |

Yeah, magic is quite fun in that sense that it has an interesting story line behind it. It isn't so predictable as well as other TCG's such as Pokemon or Yu-Gi-Oh where there is actually a cartoon show for it, which is what sets it apart. Anyone looking to try a new card game that currently play Pokemon TCG would do well to try magic. Its not all that different in terms of rules, but at the same time it is a more interesting game to play for the older players.
Unfortuantly I havn't had any fat-packs to date...I must invest in a few... |
